Topic: Polytechnics to award B.Tech

i got information that polytechnics across the country will soon be awarding B.Tech in place HND.There will be no HND again so what is the fate of people with HND.

plaese explain what would happen to those presently with HND would that be called B TECH now what would be their fate. thank you
