[size=14pt]George Bush & Abdul Kalam

While visiting India, George Bush was invited to tea by Abdul Kalam.
In the course of the tea, bush asked Kalam what his leadership philosophy is.

In reply, Kalam told him that his major philosophy was to
Surround himself with intelligent people.

Bush in suprise asked how he knows if they're intelligent or not.

"I do so by asking them the right questions," Kalam replied. ."Allow me to demonstrate this to you"

Bush watched as Kalam phoned Manmohan Singh and asked him, "Mr. Prime Minister please can you answer this question for me!

Am at your service your excellency! replied the PM.

"Your mother has a child, and your father has a child, and this child is not
your brother or sister. Who is it?" the president asked him.

Manmohan immediately responded, "It's me, Sir!"

"Correct. Thank you and good-bye, sir," says Kalam.

He hung up feeling so excited, "Did you get that, Mr. Bush?"

Bush nodded: "Yes Mr. President. Thanks a lot. I'll definitely be using that!"

Bush, upon returning to Washington, decided he'd better put Condoleezza Rice
to the test.

Bush summoned her to the White House and says, "Condoleezza, I wonder if you
can answer a question for me."

"Why, of course, sir. What's on your mind?"

Bush poses the question: "Uhm, your mother has a child, and your father has
a child, and this child is not your brother or your sister. Who is it?"

Rice was puzzled and finally asked, "Can I think about it and get back to
you?"
Yes! Bush agreed, and Rice left.

Rice immediately called a meeting of senior senators, and they puzzled over
the question for several hours, but nobody could come up with an answer.

Finally, in desperation, Rice called Colin Powell and explained the problem.

"Mr. Powell, your mother has a child, and your father has a child, and this
child is not your brother or your sister.

Who is it?"

Powell pondered on the question for a while and replied immediately, "It's me, of course."

Much relieved ,Rice rushed back to the White House, found George Bush, and jubilantly exclaims, "Yes! I know the answer, sir! I know who it is!

Who is it? Bush asked him

"Sir it is our own Colin Powell" Rice retorted

"Wrong!" bush replied in disgust

It is not Collin Powell, but Manmohan Singh!" he exclaimed between clenched teeth.
