Dear House, it appears they are still some of us who are not aware of the possibilities of scammers trying to deceive and earn a living from the internet.
I hope to write an e-book about the various scam formats used by Nigerians, Russians, Asians, etc on some unaware users of the internet.
Hopefully that will come up later on but i want to limit it to our struggles in the job hunting business so read and take note.
1. IF YOUR SEARCH EVER LEADS/REDIRECTS YOU A WEB PAGE, CHECK THE URL CAREFULLY AND ALSO THE EXTENSION, IF IT DOESN'T LOOK IT IS OWNED BY THE ADVERTISING COMPANY OF THEIR RECRUITING CONSULTANTS, BACK AWAY AND JUST CLOSE IT.
2. IF ONE TELLS YOU HIS TESTIMONY ABOUT HOW HE DIDN'T WORK HARD BUT STARTED EARNING SOME MONEY BY "JUST" ......................, IGNORE IT AND MOVE ON, IF YOU EVER GO TO THE LINK AND REGISTER, YOU'L BE ASKED TO MAKE A PAYMENT SO DON'T EVEN BOTHER CHECKING.
3. IF YOU'RE EVER ASKED TO SEND A CV/APPLICATION TO AN E-MAIL AND YOU GET A REPLY WITHIN A FEW MINUTES OF SENDING, DON'T BOTHER FOLLOWING IT UP COS APART FROM THE FACT THAT ITS NOT ENTIRELY SCAM YOU WILL BE GIVEN A TEST DATE IN LAGOS (MOST LIKELY) WITH A REQUEST TO PAY (AS LITTLE AS (N500) FOR EXAM MATERIALS, FORGET THEM, THEIR MARKETERS WHO WILL GIVE YOU A TEST AND YOU WILL NEVER GET RESULTS.
4. FINALLY (FOR THIS EDITION), IF YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR YOUR TEST COS SOME BANKS OR COMPANIES REQUEST CERTAIN RESULTS FOR YOUR APPLICATION TO GO THORUGH...WELL...IF YOU HAVE CARELESS CASH YOU CAN PAY BUT NOTE THAT YOU WILL GET A GOOD TEST RESULT BUT THERE'S NO GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL GET ANY JOBS REQUIRING THAT RESULT. THERE'S A POPULAR ONE GOING ON RIGHT NOW (NAMES WITH HELD) BUT I CONSIDER IT LEGAL SCAM SO IF YOU SHARE MY VIEW LETS NOT PATRONIZE THEM, RATHER LET THE BANKS AND COMPANIES INVOLVED TEST/INTERVIEW US
OR
LET ALL THE BANKS AND COMPANIES START REQUESTING THEIR RESULTS THEN WE WILL GLADLY PATRONIZE THEM.

Why are this GSE people making life harder for job seekers. They should allow employers and their agencies do their thing.
Why will you be asking a jobless, broke person to pay 5K. That is not fair.
