House after series of tests and interviews and no reply, is it true that someone with a third class honours can never secure a job in Nigeria?

That you or anybody had a third class doesn't mean you can't secure a job. Although your chances are very slim.

It will be better off if you get additional qualifications like PGD or MBA or some other relevant professional qualification. That will surely boost your chances.
