Compliments of the season to everyone first of all. I did my Industrial attachment with chevron some time ago. With regards the chevron test, there are two parts namely;
Section 1: General Aptitude test, it is mainly SHL
Section 2: This is the skill test. It is irrespective of the job you are applying for. It is dependent on your background. If you are a civil engineer, then the test will be on basic civil engineering stuff, mainly what you did in Year2. I know for the mechanical engineers, it covers basic fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, strength of materials etc.

So i guess everyone should starting reviewing their basic foundational courses.

As per the job trainee reservoir engineer, any one with an engineering background can be trained as a reservoir engineer. Thats why it is called trainee engineer. It is only when it is for experienced engineer that the discipline matters.

pls i read metallurgical and material engineering do u think ican be part of this, also whats the meaning of SHL test.

Hey Owolabi, I'm supprised you still ask if you can be a part of this. Let me give you a hint....

...the surest way of making sure you are not a part of sumthing is by NOT TRYING to be a part of it at all!!!

You studied engineering, what makes you think you'd not be needed... in any case, if you are called for the test and you pull through all the selection stages, you'll be trained in the area they need you but like i said earlier, the surest way of not being selected is by not applying and the first step of not making it is by doubting so....CAST YOUR DOUBTS ASIDE AND APPLY...YOU'LL NEVER KNOW WHAT GOD HAS IN PLAN FOR YOU!!!
