LogistiQ Xpeditors, a logistics company with its headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria is seeking to employ a Business Development Executive at its Port Harcourt office.
JOB SUMMARY
This role is accountable for gathering data regarding customers' markets, conducting intensive research pertaining to channel development, product development, and product distribution. As Business Development Executive, you will assist the marketing departments and help to develop new business strategies; conduct market analysis and market intelligence gathering; and develop new and improved methods for marketing products through various new and traditional media.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Responsible for Sales Development Initiatives for the Mass Market with major focus on LXGlobal’s target market.

- Develop an annual Marketing & Sales Delivery Plan and support implementation efforts with other service delivery/operations staff.

- Plan, coordinate and lead Customer-driven Supply Chain improvement efforts with the aim of achieving cost saving and operational efficiencies throughout their supply chain.

- Analyze impact of industry changes (such as fees, dues and charges) and participate in Customer negotiations for fee adjustments.

- Act as liaison and manage the demand forecasting process between the customer and the Business Strategy unit.

- Coordinate all Supply Chain communication between the Customer and LXGlobal and proactively educate SBUs about critical customer requirements.

- Participate as a core team member of the Marketing & Business Development Department including participation in weekly meetings and Quarterly Customer reviews.

- Develop strong relationships with customer supply chains personnel and act as the focal point of contact to the Customer on all critical Marketing/sales communication to and from LXGlobal.

- Develop work flow and business processes, communication tools and efficiency systems from order processing with both internal and external customers

- Monitor and authorize recurrent expenditure and other expense requests

- Participate in personnel hiring, development, promotion, retention, and scheduling decisions

- Participate in resolving operational issues (i.e. inventory levels, pricing control)

- Manage Sales and Marketing duties for LXGlobal and any other Subsidiary/Associated company as directed by management.

- Conduct research & Market intelligence gathering

GRADE/LEVEL: Mid-level Manager

REQUIREMENTS
- BSc/HND in Business Administration, Marketing and at least five years work experience. An MBA will be of added advantage.
- Candidate must possess good communication skills
