21 UNIVERSITY GRADUATES SUED NIGERIA CUSTOMS SERVICE TO COURT
FIRST HEARING 24TH NOVEMBER, 2009
This is to bring to the notice of concerned Nigerians who have contributed towards the success of this case. Finally, the date for the first hearing has been scheduled for 24th of November, 2009 in the Federal high court 2, Maitama Abuja. It is on this note, we want to invite all media reporters, journalist and concerned Nigerians to come and listen to the injustice done by Nigeria Customs Recruitment officer in the 2008/2009 recruitment of officers. Where University graduates were placed on level 06, issued appointment letter, haven written acceptance letter to be satisfied with the level, and were still denied of their service numbers and were denied of attending the ongoing training. Which was later discovered their spaces were replaced with people who do not attend the exam conducted by the service.

Re: 21 UNIVERSITY GRADUATES SUED NIGERIA CUSTOMS SERVICE TO COURT
This is nice and shows that there is still justice,Imagine when graduates are denied the opportunity to be employed after running up and down for the examination conducted, this is unfair and mere wickedness. justice must be done to this case and kudos for those 21 graduates for speaking out

Kudos to the G21, I think is time for us to start speaking out because if you dont speak out they will think we dont know anything. Many government agencies and bodies are into employment manipulations. Lets do something to draw their attention that we are aware of what they are doing. Is time we act wise and smart. One love.

Re: 21 UNIVERSITY GRADUATES SUED NIGERIA CUSTOMS SERVICE TO COURT
I strongly know and believe that God is up there working things out for each one of us. Whoever does evil will reap evil. It is uncalled for after one must have have undergone soul-breaking stress, some non God-fearing individuals will now turn the table as they desire.God is above everyone.

Re: 21 UNIVERSITY GRADUATES SUED NIGERIA CUSTOMS SERVICE TO COURT
its a crazy country indeed with very mad leaders! had a friend who had 2:1 in mech engineering from a federal university who wanted to work in police of all places; he attended test-bought scratch cards- traveled to hometown to get signatures- passed first stage- called to abuja for screening- shortlisted. eventually those who did not even register at stage 1 were suddenly brought out of nowhere and given the jobs. how can i ever respect any policeman again?
kudos to those guys suing customs. may their efforts not be futile. may they not be snuffed out. mat it be well with them.
its a mad nation, this nation we live in, this nigeria.

Re: 21 UNIVERSITY GRADUATES SUED NIGERIA CUSTOMS SERVICE TO COURT
Yes, Amen! The Custom Chief Thief and his Partners in Crime must die untimely for this Crime Against Humanity! In fact, what befall Abacha, Bode George, etc, shall be their portion. Lest I forgot, my advice to the G21 is to insist that the same judge that sentenced the Chief Inmate, Kirikiri Maximun Prison, Thief Olabode George be detailed to sit on this historic legal battle. In fact, when this is done , I bet you, justice and victory is ours. Cheers!
-
Re: 21 UNIVERSITY GRADUATES SUED NIGERIA CUSTOMS SERVICE TO COURT
These G21 are heroes, we are solidly behind you, this case must attract media attention to succeed
-
Re: 21 UNIVERSITY GRADUATES SUED NIGERIA CUSTOMS SERVICE TO COURT
Things like this happen mostly in government establishments.
Innocent graduates are exploited and later dumped for sacred cows with big connections.
These are the things ICPC and human rights organisations should tackle head-on.
I wish the 21 graduates best of luck as they fight for justice.
-
Re: 21 UNIVERSITY GRADUATES SUED NIGERIA CUSTOMS SERVICE TO COURT
I salute the courage of those graduates and wish them good luck/fair hearing.

thanks compatroits, we sure will move ahead in Nigeria and God will punish those people who are still keeping us back through their old fashioned fraudulent attitudes. We are out here supporting your courage and praying that justice will be done and if it not, we will shout it at the top of our voices so that the world will know that Nigerians need to make efforts like what u guyz are doing to rid our endowed land of these fags who stay in offices and replicate their corrupt selves ! shame on them.

The Nigerian Customs is sick and needs a total overhaul, the G21 guys travelled far and wide b4 they got to this stage, and some group of evil men think that their dreams will not come through, how can the NCS place a university graduate at level 06,that is madness.i advise whoever that will judge the case to judge justly,or else his/her children will perish in joblessness,it is high time we put an end this madness this GREAT NATION NIGERIA is suffering.
