Description
Job Purpose
To manage, develop and implement the following for the Region:
Key responsibility
- To maximise revenues and profits for Weatherford
- To ensure that operations exceed customer requirements and expectations.
- To support the customer base with technical sales and supervise installations of liner hanger systems.
- Translate client needs and expectations into Weatherford solutions in an accurate and timely manner.
- Provide cross-product line integrated solutions that promotes and delivers incremental revenues to Weatherford.
- Provide an understanding within Weatherford of account performance and business potential.
- Provide accurate market analysis.
- Ensure workshop is fully functional, adhere to QHSE, apply QA,QC, Assembly and test of liner systems.
- Manage inventory and all stock levels. Ensure timely delivery of approved orders.

- Primary focus will be on Liner Hanger system applications.
- Gather tactical, strategic and technical data on market place, industry and client account.
- Gather technical needs information for future technology development.
- Provide technical support and guidance on a project basis in order to ensure that systems and products are engineered properly and " proved to be fit for purpose " prior to installation.
Communicate:
- Propose profitable solutions to Customer needs.
- Devise plans to maximise revenue and profits whilst ensuring competitive advantage.
- Consolidate account data.
Follow Up:
- Accurately translate solutions to Customer needs into Weatherford requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring that all proposals produced are accurate and complete. This includes ensuring that appropriate analyses have been performed, and that solution designs will result in beneficial outcomes for both the customer and Weatherford.
- Manage Weatherford interfaces and relationships with Customer to resolve customer needs.
- Communicate appropriate tactical data into Weatherford network.
- Strategic Visits across WA
Training
- Proactively inform Customers of order status
- Provide Technical and Commercial support to Customer.
- Conduct Customer satisfaction surveys
- Build Customer relationships to appropriate levels - understand key decision makers.
- Resolve any Account problems, office and the rig site with regard to specific job or project planning.
- Ensure that system schematics and SOR are made readily available for design review purposes.
- Proactively seek product knowledge and internal training.
- Provide Technical support and training for local nationals in country.
- Ensure personal competency meets the requirements to comply with SVQ.
- Ensure competency level is at the required standard and demonstrate continuous improvement.
- Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.
Qualifications
Excellent technical skills, ie; understanding engineering drawings and technical literature.
Minimum of 5 years relevant offshore / field / rig site experience.
Possess an excellent level of general education.
Good reading, writing, computer, mathematics, communications and literary skills.
Have excellent 'hands on' experience working with down-hole equipment, especially liner hangers, packers and cementation products.
Be self-motivated, pro-active and have the ability to work unsupervised.
Must be technically competent.
Able to sell the PL to customers. Technical as well as commercial.
Must be able to install all liner hanger products.
Able to do "cold customer visits "
