Topic: Vacancy for Business Development Manager in an Oil and Gas Servicing Company

We are an independent geosciences and engineering consultancy company operating upstream oil and gas industry.
We currently consult for International Oil Companies (IOCs), Marginal Field Operators and Independent Oil Producers. We have a well established business development Unit, but due to the recent re-organisation, we require a suitable candidate for this role.
Key responsibility would be to;
· Follow up on the existing as well as new contacts for continuous growth of the company.
· Sourcing for/and renewing of existing clients relationship amongst other job functions.
· Identify and develop new business for the company in accordance with the company’s strategy and goals.
· Coordinate enquiries and bids on behalf of the company.
· Initiate partnership and diversification opportunities
· Manage target client and secure opportunities for the company
In a bid to sustain the Business Development unit, we are looking for a highly qualified and dedicated professional with;
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· Be a graduate from reputable university with minimum of second class lower or its equivalent in related field. Preferably female.
· Have a minimum 5 years working experience in a similar capacity and preferably having hands on experience in business outsourcing and development for the oil and gas industry.
· Good Presentation Skills
· Have a wide network in the oil and gas industry and must have experience in building and maintaining clients’ relationships.
· Ability to work with limited resources.
· Team player; leads by exemplifying shared organizational values.
· Experience in working closely with Marginal Operators, Independent Producers and International Oil Companies to achieve their goals and needs.
· Good command of English both oral and written.
