Bradfield Consulting - Our client a world-class Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation Company (EPCI) with vast experience in Upstream Project for the Oil & Gas Sector in Nigeria and the West African Sub-region is looking for a highly motivated and committed individual for the position of a Human Resources Manager.

Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Required Qualifications and Competencies


  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources/ Business or its equivalent is required; A master s degree and CIPM certification will be an advantage.
  • HR Manager should be SPHR or PHR certified
  • Applicants must have at least 10 years generalist HR experience and have a background working in the contracting business.
  • Professional working experience more than 5 years in the areas of Policymaking, Recruitment, Planning, Compensation, Visa, etc
  • Senior Management exposure is essential as the role will be to manage a large team of 25 people.


Responsibilities

  • Develop processes, tools, and training necessary to deliver best-practice leadership, performance management and culture change initiatives; Partner with Senior Management to ensure these initiatives are executed successfully and are routinely used throughout the company and provide guidance to Business Leadership in effectively driving and supporting positive change efforts.
  • Monitor effectiveness of efforts through formal evaluation processes for all key programs and projects.
  • Develop, monitor, and give report on project plans, milestones, metrics, and budgets to track progress and effectiveness of all programs described above.
  • Procure necessary tools/resources to support overall service requirements.
  • Deliver company inductions to both onshore and offshore workers and also business clients.
  • Ensure that the competency/capability of all workers is evidenced by production and validation of all relevant documentation, ensuring full compliance with Company's Competency programme, whilst supporting the team to maintain integrity & best practice.
  • Liaise with the Human Resource team; Discipline Managers; External Agencies and employees and contractors from various departments as and when required
  • Preparation of new personnel files, upgrading of existing personnel files and general filing tasks, complying with Human Resource Best Practice and Data Protection requirements
  • Assist in maintaining Human Resources guidelines, procedures and Work Instructions in accordance with Company policy and current employment legislation
  • Provide administration cover for the Human Resources Administration Operations and resourcing team as required.
  • Support colleagues with day-to-day activities to ensure that deadlines and standards are met & commitments honoured.
  • Handle and distribute incoming mail and manage the department stationery requirements.
  • Establish recruiting requirements by keeping on top of the Manpower plan and resignations/ terminations, department objectives and project developments
  • Allied occasional duties.
