POSITION: ASSISTANT LOGISTICS OFFICER

LINE MANAGER: MATERIALS MANAGER
DEPARTMENT: TECHNICAL
LOCATION: LAGOS
JOB PURPOSE
Duties and responsibilities include among other things to assist with the implementation and management of company’s aircraft spares purchasing function including sourcing, acquiring, supplying and arranging appropriate delivery of materials, parts and components.

Specific responsibilities include:



  • Assists in sourcing and establishment of wide range of worldwide network of suppliers and vendors
  • Request for quotes for parts and negotiate price with suppliers
  • Initiate purchase orders via electronic system, email etc
  • Ensure compliance of ordered parts with terms of shipping, price, quantity and quality
  • Liaise with and monitor forwarders/courier agents to ensure on-time delivery of parts.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE



  • BSc/HND in Sciences or Social Sciences
  • Two (2) years cognate experience in the industry will be an advantage
