QUALIFICATION: Bachelor’s degree preferably in Food Science and Technology or Chemical Engineering

REQUIREMENTS:
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that material/ human resources are efficiently and effectively utilized to achieve production targets timely and at best quality.
KEY TASK
• Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule.
• Ensuring that the production is cost effective.
• Develop and track improvement in reduction of planned hours.
• Coordinate, set up and implement standard operating procedure for all production operations.
• Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality.
• Manage the adherence to prescribed procedures to ensure first pass quality meets or exceeds planned goals.
• Working out the human and material resources needed to optimize utilization, for an effective Production organization.
• Ensure prescribed line preventive maintenance’s are completed timely.
• Ensure complete compliance to prescribed QMS, GMP’s and 5S processes.
• Review performance of Subordinates, track competencies and provide leadership and development as required to achieve the objectives
• Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices.
• Liaising among different departments - Stores, Engineering, Human Resource, Accounts etc.
• Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.
• Reviewing the performance of subordinates.
• Experience in the food and beverages industry will be an advantage

EXPERIENCE:
FivFive years working experience as Production Supervisor in a food related Industry
