• Possesses advanced knowledge of design work processes.
• Possesses advanced technical design knowledge.
• Knowledgeable of engineering design work processes.
• Knowledgeable of codes, standard and regulations that apply to the design
disciplines.
• Interfaces effectively with customers (Engineering, Construction, Operations)
about technical issues relative to the work.
• Is considered a design expert in one or more disciplines.
• Provides quality assurance reviews and detailed checking support.
• Knowledgeable of the interface points between design disciplines.
• Efficiently uses the PDMS design modules, Data archiving (Quest And LiveLink),
PDMS Review, AutoRouter, SteelWorks, E&I 98 and forms and menus.
• Is able to use latest industry AutoCAD software releases.
• Knowledgeable of UNIX/Windows NT operating systems.
• Is able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Has offshore/onshore fabrication design experience.
• Has thorough knowledge of PDMS administrative support, database
administration support, Oracle, Fortran, C languages, PML, LISP and Visual
Basic.
