I received my invite yesterday and sms invite today for the Technical selection test on the 18th May at PH. Would they allow someone with statement of O'Level result write the test?

Who are all these guys telling the house that those with 2-2 wont be allowed to write the test???...do you know that there were people that got into shell last year with only 2-2 and without masters????...I didn't even know this my self until someone who has been in shell for 7 years told me. So, please if you were shortlisted and you have a 2-2, don't be discouraged by what you have been hearing cos you will be allowed to take the test....the only problem is if you filled that you have a masters when it is actually still in view...that will hinder you cos they will ask for your masters certificate..They will only ask for masters if you filled that you had it online when you were applying..Please let's always try to encourage the house...one love
candidates from the north wrote in ph yesterday and were reimbursed accordingly.so i dont think they will conduct any exams in the north again.if so those would not av being invited to ph. my opinion.Quote:

@transcedent,a pal of mine based in Lagos got an email 4 d 18th May PH test. Gatecrashing is an option 'cos my friend came with me 4 for my Lagos test,he was shortlisted but wasn't invited 4 d test. He was later allowed 2 write d test with d 2nd exam batch of that day. However, all that wrote the test that day had either a 2-1 and above OR a 2-2 with Masters degree. Those wit only 2-2 were not allowed 2 write d test.
@chibuchi01...shl format, Advanced Managerial test was used for the numerical test 30 ques for 35 mins, 1-15 piece of cake, but 16-30 designed for time-wasting, so brother U have to be faster that ferrari F1.
Critical reasoning, 32 ques for 18 mins, normal TFC (True False Cannot say)
Spartial reasoning 40 ques for 15 mins, here U need to be faster than Lamborghini...but they are all questions you can tackle.

@Donivald...I wrote with the 1st batch, after which d whole re-imbursement stuff came up(attn just shift...lol), but overall I'm believing God. How did urs go man? would definitly see U at the SRD by God's grace.

@maxinto,i think u can gatecrash 'cos my friend who was shortlisted in his portal but never got an email invite gatecrashed at d Lagos centre. He was later allowed(together wit others in d same predicament) to write d exam with d 2nd batch of email-invited guys 4 dat day. Though they didn't allow anyone wit 2-2 to write d test unless he/she has completed a Masters programme.
@donivald, the case here is that I was neither shortlisted nor invited; but I made 2.1 in my 1st degree. On this premise, what chances do someone like me have to make it thru gate-crashing?

To all my folks in the house thanks for your advise and update, at least it help to ease the stress, i wouldn't have imagine my self in PH and not allowed to take the test. in that case i would have lost my flight fare in addition to this disappointment. If there is any one working in shell reading my thread, try and understand that this is the worse disappointment i have received since my job search begin, and please call the attentions of your boss and those in charge of this local opportunities recruitment to this post and please advise them not to try on of this rubbish ever again, I even called the shell Nigeria phone numbers and couldn't get any useful response when this confusion was looming in the house, that is very unprofessional Well BYE everyone.
