guys to be honest.......I really dont see them calling any more........if the test results are to come out in three weeks times as they say...then I dont see them calling those who have not received IV yet.......but I mean this is just my opinion.....except some1 can get confirmation from shell's HR............anyway.....just keep remaining positive...who knows...
if u applied for a commercial position then u need not be alarmed i don't see y u guys are panicking its only the technical people that have been called on
for the test. keep ur fingers crossed and always hope for the best.

this is not an issue of commercial position.........most of these guys are technical guys.............that is the concern

guyz, abeg those that have written the test so far should share their thoughts with us. is it really SHL or is their any twist and turns?
I'm with @chioma1286 on this one. Enough of these unsubstantiated reasons. While we do not know for sure what SHELL will do, I have reasons to believe that if we are still shortlisted now while others are writing the test, then, there is high probability that they will still call. The jury is still out on that though.
@sx_knx while ur suggesting that enough of the unsubstantiated reasons ur giving one urself. Everyone is entitled to their opinions n we re jst sharing views on the subject matter not giving reasons as we r not an authority on this very matter. While I understand the fears of many concerning the test I thing my getting other peoples opinion will help ease the burden n help keep hopes alive.
@can do there has already been a discussion to that end just back previous pages as one of the attendees have explained the structure of the test in a somewhat detailed manner.
my advice go to ph and write the test ooh.obviously since you were shortlisted then your names would definitely be on that list.don't just sit at home hoping and waiting,bcos after 3weeks from 13th shell would start calling for interwiews,no special dates again to write the test.take my advice go to a center chk ur name on the list and ull be allowed to write.tht happened here in lagos centre before my very own eyes.some were not given the invite but were shortlisted and wen they chked the list they found their names and did write the test.so dont dull ooh.

is there a WARRI test centre.......I havent heard of it so far...............
from what i gathered its only lagos and ph centres.What's left is the days scheduled for ph and lag and most importantly when the tests will end!
for real... maybe u guys should go to the test venue and find things out for urselves...IT IS WELL!

I have the same issue with "shortlisted but not invited for test". Can some1 in the house tell me the next dates with time from now till the last day for tests in Lagos or/and Portharcout. I would like to go to the test without waiting for the invitation. Preferably, I want to write it in Lagos because I stay in Akure. Many thanks.
Some of us are far away in the extreme North, my question goes: is it worth taking the risk? My status shows shortlisted but no IV yet. My NYSC ends nxt mnth, i don't wanna make any unfruitful journey b4 then. I'm really amazed wit d way SPDC is running dis yrs programme. All the same SHELL is nt the end of the world. Evrytin happens 4 a reason. GOD PASS DEM!!!

@sallymos, house I called someone there to help me confirm from the SITP office about "the shortlisted but not invited" they said the test is scheduled for those in technical category ,but that of commercials will be later. but am not really satisfied with that, i think we still need to be at the center.
@sallymos: Did you know anyone without an IV but whose name is on the list and was allowed to write the test? and this goes out the house, someone should please tell me the dates left for Lagos and Portharcourt centres to write the test? I think it is better I go with sallymos suggestion.
my "personal opinion" is that those shortlisted and not yet invited should try and go prepared to the next test especially if its in your state, whats the worst that can happen they will say no you cant write, it doesnt mean the end of the world, also it will give you some idea as to where you stand instead of just coming on to NHJ and guessing, the saying says that Heaven helps those that hep themselves, so get your pencils calculator and your documents ready and head to the centre nearest you, as for those far i would advise you wait and ask those that will go on the 11th and see what there response will be. (basically what i would do if i wasnt invited and shortlisted)
@goodnessandmercy and @Van4life.....i am not sure about the 2.2 + masters being called idea. A have a 2.2 + uk masters (distinction), am shortlisted but not yet invited.

Ok. So, for those of us in the far North, which centre will it be? Port Harcourt or Lagos? Because one might go to Ph and the name would be on Lagos list and Vice versa. I don't get it. Running all over Nigeria being unsure about what to do. Can someone actually get someone in that's an authority in the Shell recruitment thingy and help us ask? Because the number of things we are hearing (that don't correspond, BTW) are alarming. Some would say 1, 2.1 and 2.2 with masters. What about those with 2.1 with masters not yet called? Na wa o.

I'm not vexing. I'm just saying it would be crazy to leave my job to go for a test I'm not sure of. Because, some people who were invited (that I know and I'm sure of) were turned back. I even helped one of them do her application, so I'm sure that nothing is amiss. Not to talk of uninvited individuals like me turning up. Ha!!! It would be really shitty if I get there and there's nothing for me.
Vanessavenus why did they send them back? Can someone who has written the test give us a clear clue on the test? What we have had so far has been somewhat vague.
At times I wonder if some guys in SHELL HR and other multinationals go through threads like this................I wonder what runs through their minds when they see the level of pressure, worry and anxiety they subject Nigeria Graduates to as a result of their actions or inactions............keeping people in so much suspense.......yet playing dumb to their predicament.......
I have never know SHELL to behave like this............They are one company that try to, at the least, act humane to the numerous graduates undergoing their recruitment process........but I guess there is always a first time for every1.......................just see the level of confusion stirred on this thread, you can then extrapolate to the larger community...................
From the vibrations I am receiving, SHELL claims to have "over shortlisted" candidates...............(how authentic this is, I cant equally confirm given the way info is flying around)...............whether they would eventually call or not is difficult to equally establish.........but given the "CIA like" manner they are keeping this info "Top Secret and Classified" one can expect an adverse outcome..(at least for worst case scenario)..........believe me if they had another date for the tests, they would have calmed nerves ages ago...........On a similar thread some1 said it was a mistake on the part of SHELL due to "inadequate IVs".........This is very difficult to believe as the IV was via email and could not have been inadequate........
I would however advice that those who are close to the PH test venue that are "shortlisted without an invite" go on the 11th to the PH venue (to check their names and /or gatecrash which ever suffices) ..........and give us a feedback.........so that those not to too far away can make an attempt to be there the next day 12th or the day after 13th...............and for the category of people that are far far away and would require and elaborate arrangement (some number of days) to make it.........hmm......well.......what can I say.....I guess we can only hope that SHELL would call and give enough time to make the trip.........else......definitely we continue to move ahead and hope for better chances in future............it is pathetic.............
