1.Dredging Superintendent (Technical)

Supervise the technical dredging crew. Coordinate the operation, maintenance and repair of dredging vessels and repairing and
Maintaining Mechanical Equipment - Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts. Take responsibility for planning the execution of the project activities and ensure that they are performed in an economical manner, and to check and confirm the works according to the contract requirements. Maintain good relation with client /consultant. Ensure coherence and optimal functioning of the activities of all project team members, check and confirm of variations in the scope of work. Check and confirm planning and subsequent budget implications - check and confirm the execution of project quality and HSE policy. Manage the day to day dredging activities of several vessels. Ensure dredging activities are executed as per project plan. Monitor optimal usage, functioning and daily production of company equipments in close cooperation and consultation with the dredging crew. Provide daily reports to the Executive Director on milestones, work/ done, progress, budget, issues and planning. Delegate specific responsibilities to Senior dredge masters(s) and analyze their daily reports. Assess performance and suggest efficiency improvement activities. Provide leadership and guidance towards (Sr.) dredge masters and supervisors. Identify risks and appropriate mitigations; escalate if necessary. Ensure cooperation between project team members and a smooth data/ information transfer to internal and if applicable, external stakeholders. Cooperate constructively, efficiently and effectively cooperate with Senior dredge masters and supervisors onsite.
Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum BSc/HND Marine Engineering or related discipline. Minimum of 10 years experience. Project Management Professional certification and extensive project execution experience will be an added advantage. Significant experience in project performance analysis, track record of management projects, and basic knowledge of contracting methods and contract administration. Very good knowledge of Dredging and Marine Construction industries.




2. Business Development Manager – Dredging Business
Job description
Support strategic objectives by leading all marketing, business development and sales initiatives to identify and develop new accounts and maximize sales with existing accounts. Directly participate in strategic business planning, market analysis, customer relationship development and contract negotiations for the Company related to Dredging. Manage the market research and reporting infrastructure such that aid informed decision making and strategy development. Identify market opportunities and position the company to take advantage of such opportunities. Develop new market opportunities for additional business volumes coming from current and future operating areas. Develop and supervise business development executives. Develop and implement the company’s business development strategies. Prepare the company’s strategy for price review and lead price review teams at negotiations. Ensure Price Risk Management is handled accurately and efficiently. Participate in the development of contracts and agreements. Be responsible for short-term and long-term dredging planning to help the subsidiary and consequently the parent company increase profitability. Manage process of establishing tenders and proposals. Analyze tender documents and finalize the tender while ensuring completeness. Advice tender team on bid strategy in consultation with Supervising Director. Ensure all technical, contractual, schedule and cost estimation and design engineering input needed to meet tender requirements is collected.
Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum BSc/HND in Geology and/or Engineering related discipline with minimum of 10 years cognate experience in Oil & Gas with at least 5 years in Dredging. Very good knowledge and understanding of the Dredging industry in Nigeria and the basic guiding statutory laws will be an added advantage. Candidates should have strong links to industry and have knowledge of the business drivers for our key markets. 3. Trader – Upstream & Downstream Petroleum Products
Job description
This position manages major Downstream Petroleum Products (DPP) purchasing activity and formulates market strategy to identify and act upon supply chain opportunities focusing on asset optimization. Accountable for consistently meeting targeted DPP delivery schedules, profitability and optimization targets. Coordinates logistical arrangements with logistics team to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of DPP. Prepare and present monthly forecasts and purchase price variance analysis. Conduct day-to-day activities of DPP trading by tracking and monitoring market movements; accountable for making instant decision on selling and buying for meeting profitability and optimization targets; Source, develop and manage domestic and international supplier relationships to ensure uninterrupted DPP supply. Establish and sustain strong relationships with relevant industries parties and counterparties to develop business opportunities within the oil & gas trading arena. Negotiates contracts for purchase/sale of DPP. Negotiate and conclude market transactions on a spot/term basis according to guidelines given. Interact with company management involved in the trading/commercial activity. Execute hedging strategies and develop analytical reports to assist in taking hedging decisions. Gathers and reports competitive intelligence on underlying supply and demand forces impacting business activities. Support trading strategies by using fundamental model analysis or trades with reputable counterparties that are back to back in nature.

4. Quantity Surveyor – Construction Business (Road and Infrastructure)

Job description
Review and make necessary recommendations on client and contractor’s valuation & claims and assist with the preparation and clarification of payments with clients and contractors will all supporting documents. Ensure prompt submittal and completeness of valuations. Review and record measure of work done, materials on site against delivery notes. Prepare variations and day works, cost estimates. Make input into the preparation of the final account and monthly financial statements. Knowledgeable with quantification of materials related to and operation of Asphalt plants, Crushers, Quality control etc. Preparedness to be site based and to be flexible as to where the work may be. Measurement of site work from drawings and evaluating monthly interim payments for contractors and to the client. Measuring and assessing client’s variations to the construction works and contractor’s claim for changes. Implementing cost controls procedures outlined in construction contract. Manage post-contract Quantity Surveying on Highway, Major Roads contracts and infrastructures. Advise and make input into contracts, ensure completeness and validity of contractual requirements. Review contractor’s resource allocation. Audit payments to Contractors. Monitor contracts final cost estimates. Liaise with departments in all financial and contractual matters throughout the course of all contracts. Ability to prepare calculations/working sheets for all sections of works as per mile stone delivery with clear reading of all drawings and interpretation with little or no supervision. Work extensively with the business development and tendering unit to generate commercial documents, make presentations and involved in business meetings.

5. Chief Engineer – Dredging Operation
Job description
Directs activities of the Engine department and is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair/overhauling of all mechanical, electrical, auxiliary, and miscellaneous equipment. As well as scheduled and preventative maintenance; and supervising engine room crew. Allocates resources in order to accomplish engineering support goals. Provide the dredge vessel engine support necessary to support a regular and consistent weekday dredging function. Ensure sufficient fuel, spares etc are held on board to sustain at least 24 hours continuous operations. Maintain a high standard of engineering efficiency and reliability throughout all the dredge vessel’s electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, assemblies and equipment. Carry out precisely the control and monitoring instructions for all machinery and equipment. Monitor and report appropriately, immediately any damage, undue wear or unsafe condition of any of the dredge vessel’s equipment. Undertake planned maintenance system duties. Record, monitor and maintain accurate fuel, oil and lubricants usage. Retain, be aware and keep up to date with all relevant engineering information, legislation and requirements of statutory bodies, taking appropriate action as necessary. To identify and manage risks, particularly those which affect safety, and to ensure that all tasks are performed with the utmost regard to health and safety. To facilitate effective communications on risk and safety issues between the team and senior management. Supervises engine crew and coordinates daily engine operation and equipment repairs/overhauling. Maintains all dredge and supporting equipment in operating condition and ensures repairs are made by crew or outside source on a timely basis. Tracks daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports and inspections. Maintain records of repairs. Maintains inventory of and orders spare parts. Tracks and orders fuel, oil, and water. Monitors all mechanical and electrical components on the dredge. Enforces safety rules and regulations. Initiates corrective and preventive actions to ensure goals are met.

Minimum of BSc/HND in Marine/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering 15 years experience in marine engineering, including supervisory experience, dredging experience is mandatory.






6. Senior General Manager – Marine Business
Job description
To oversee the Marine and Offshore Operations Business with current fleet of 13 vessels and with potential to grow to 40 vessels in 5 years. Will be responsible for managing the day to day activities (support and operations) of the marine and offshore interests of the company and provide feedback to the Executive Director regarding technical operations, administration & logistics, and management of the marine fleet operations. The responsibilities include management of the marine strategic business expansion and acquisition of marine fleet, client services, crew management, technical, maintenance and commercial contracts management and ensure 90% availability of vessels and equipment. The focus is on strategic, tactical, and long term operations management. Create Business development / Marketing materials where appropriate to support the Business development / Marketing activities. Take responsibility for the design, operation, and improvement of the marine operations and systems. Responsible for the attainment of short- and long-term financial and operational goals. Directs the development of the organization to ensure future growth. Plans and directs business operational policies, objectives, initiatives. Develop Company Crisis Management and take charge/ lead in Crises Management. Initiate, develop, implement and monitor relevant policies and procedures for conformity and compliance. Ensure that Company Assets and staff are fully equipped with insurance, equipment, registration, licenses and communication tools required to fulfil their objectives. A degree in business administration, marine operations or related field is required. Twelve (12) or more years of specific maritime operations experience.

Will be responsible for ensuring that there is no idle time for the fleet of vessels and equipment, utilization of up to the tune of 85% is minimally acceptable. Identification and development of potential clients and new business opportunities in the oil and gas, marine and offshore industry. Development and retention of existing clients and enhancement of customer relationships for unbroken business patronage. Review of tender documents and contracts, preparation and submission of commercial and technical proposals, negotiation of commercial, technical and contracts Manage and seek improvement in process or system Reporting, business statistics and financial forecast to the management. Expand and develop Business plans and/or Strategic marketing activities by researching and exploring Marine, Offshore and Oil & Gas industry’s opportunities and draw up road map for realizing it. Promote new markets and improve competitive positions by identifying new challenges, emerging issues and execute appropriate strategies to address the challenges. Form strategies targeting specific engagements and opportunities and implement road mapping on how to get actualize the strategies.

8. Business Development Manager-Construction
