Sahara!!!sucessful candidates wil be contacted within a week -so they said today-lets share these little question from sahara together to enrich this thread cos by now u ought to have realize that there are different paper type quiz for each person and its all 5mins physics/engr qiuiz....here re they. 1What is friction 2what a thermocouple3 state factors responsible for siting a power station 4 factors responsible for hydrodam siting in an area 5 what I a transformer 6 why must u step down before transmission 7 what's d difference between ignition and combustion stage in gas turbine .8 how do u convert an dc to ac answer all in 5mins.....all the best cos I had a wonderful time chating with them today

@cyrax, help me tell dem oo.... may be our hope so far wit sahara is dashed... I think only candidates with Lagos address were invited. If so that's unfair
That aint true. People were invited frm outside lagos. I went from warri, smbdy also came from Jos. Although most of those invited was from lagos. They seem to hv their own criteria for selecting who they invite
They usually consider your response to the three questions u answered while filling d form when shortlisting. I was equally invited & based in Rivers.
I've done mine, all i can do now is pray, because thats the only solution right now.
@all pls wot should we expect in d second stage of dis recruitment
they are not calling polytechnic graduates..... oga ooo i no receive any call/msg now....

@ moradeks dt must be for the Graduate Management talent programme (please correct me if i'm wrong tho), and not the Graduate Engineering Prog wch is currently in the 2nd stage.GMTP recr is usually where they use the term "chat". so u need to be clear on wch u've applied for cos I think the interviews are a little diff. either ways go to the search box @ the top right hand corner of the page type "sahara" and search! u'll be suprised the amount of useful info u cn get from old threads. if you applied for the Graduate Engineering programme den the info u need is in this thread, i think a coupla folks already shared their xperience.Best of LuckQuote:

Whats apnin in this forum? I think we ought to start discussing likely questions to be encountered during the second stage of the interview. We've all been quiet for days. I think those successful in the first stage have been contacted. "Please what is to be expected in the second stage of the interview? Anyone with a hint should please help the house."

House just try 2 study how gas turbine power plants work as they explicitly explained. nderstand the thermodynamics involved with respect to the Brayton cycle and be able to back it up.God will see us through

They explicitly said the theory as applied to the operation of gas turbine power plant.Doesn't mean u shouldn't know about the other components like generators, and stuffs.
