Job Description | Purpose Statement:
• To codify the various aspects of the brand and create avenues to effectively disseminate them to the relevant stakeholders
• To achieve accurate alignment between and the brand and Sahara’s vision, mission and values
• To take ownership of all company Corporate Communication & marketing collateral (corporate profile, brochure, press, advertising, gifts, events, corporate communication, websites etc) and ensure a coordinated and consistent message across Key Deliverables:
• Build overall Brand preference, visibility and equity in all Sahara locations
• Provide brand communication and advertising strategy leadership
• Develop media strategy and monitor deployment and compliance.
• Coordinate external brand activities and ensure compliance with brand guidelines/objectives
• Ensure brand compliance across all channels and customer engagement points globally
• Manage and evaluate the brand & communication agency(ies) for smooth flow of operations
• Development and management of brand assets, events and sponsorships
• Provide realistic and executable budgets for the year & maintain zero budget overspend
• Create, implement and oversee communications programmes that effectively describe and promote Sahara
• Create materials to support communications strategies and oversee design, production and distribution of all branding/promotional material
• Coordinate communications and marketing efforts with other stakeholders to ensure consistency of corporate image and message
• Develop new and improve existing employee publications and newsletters, recommend editorial policies and guidelines and ensure accuracy and timely distribution
• Update and manage company internet sites
• Supervise the quality and appropriateness of communication activities internally or externally produced
• Ensure corporate identity is followed to achieve uniformity and synergy
