The National Centre for Energy Efficiency & Conservation (NCEEC) is a Research Centre organised in 2008 bY the Energy Commission of Energy of Nigeria with mandates which include research on Energy of Nigeria with mandates which include research on Energy Efficiency and Conservation.

The Centre, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following vacancies:

1. Research Fellow I, II

2. Assistant Research Fellow

3. Graduate Assistant

Research Fellow I CONUASS 4

Research Fellow II CONUASS 3

Assistant Research Fellow CONUASS 2

Graduate Assistant CONUASS 1



Candidates in all cases shall possess a good honours Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:

· Physics

· Electrical/Electronics Engineering

· Systems Engineering

· Chemical Engineering

· Computer Science

· Material/Metallurgical

· Mechanical Engineering



Candidates for the post of Research Fellow I must have a higher qualification at the PhD level and evidence of good publications

Candidates for the post of Research Fellow II must have a higher qualification at the Master’s level plus good publications

Candidates for Assistant Research Fellow must show evidence of registration for MSc degree of the University of Lagos.

In all cases, the right candidate must be practical – oriented with a strong theoretical background, able to initiate research into new areas as directed by the Centre. They must be able to show strong evidence of ability to conduct result oriented research.


IMPORTANT NOTICE: Minimum Basic Qualification for all Appointments: 5 ‘O’ Level Credits including English Language
