MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB

To maintain and operate effective, efficient and standard accounting procedures, ensure accurate maintenance of the company’s accounting books and timely rendition of financial statements and reports to meet management’s requirement.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepares Bank Reconciliation Statements and raise journal entry for
Posting.

Track project budget and monitor spends

Prepare detail analysis on the performance of each project

Develop weekly and monthly cash flow forecast
Maintain inventory records and prepare daily report on stock position.
Institutes inventory control policy and coordinates inventory audits.
Maintain Fixed Asset Register and reconcile items to the ledger.
Conduct fixed Assets audit and evaluation
Implement control measures and ensure adherence at all projects sites.
Review all General Ledger Account’s details and Inter-companies
Review and post Journal transactions
Review and post transactions entry on cheque payments.
Creates and maintains General Ledger Accounts, Acct Receivables &
Accounts Payables.
Prepares invoices for payment of clients. Prepare project monthly P& L Report
Reconciles Accounts Receivables and Accounts payables. Prepares schedules for PAYE and Withholding Tax for payments.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum Educational Qualification and Experience
- B.Sc. Accounting / HND
- 4 years post qualification working experience in Construction Industry.
Other Qualifications
- Membership of Professional Body (Accounting)
