Purpose:

The role has two principal aims. The first is to meet or exceed customer satisfaction targets by managing the customer interface so as to continually demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the project delivery and execution. The second aim is meet or exceed the contracted financial targets by managing the available resources, both internal and external, in order to meet contractual schedules, key contract performance indicators and deliverables.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities:


* Be the primary customer interface for all issues relating to the project.
* This includes all work-scope for which ou client has responsibility including those delivered by other internal, or external, companies or individuals.
* Ensure the necessary tools, techniques and procedures are implemented to ensure efficient and effective project control.
* These should be consistent with those being applied across Customer Business.
* Work with the ICS Project Manager to ensure an effective handover from the installation phase to the project.
* Monitor customer satisfaction in line with the established Corporate process and provide timely reporting to the business management function.
* Where customer satisfaction targets have not been met improvement plans must be drafted, monitored and closed out to the satisfaction of the customer.
* Develop, own and continuously update an accurate maintenance plan for each of the assets covered under the project.
* The plans shall be periodically reviewed with both the client and the fleet planning and logistics group.
* As a minimum a requirements interface document between the project and the fleet planning and logistics group should include field service, lease engines, engine overhaul and direct repair orders
* After each maintenance campaign, review with the fleet management and logistics group, the efficiency and effectiveness of the campaign addressing as a minimum field service, spares, tooling and work-packs.
* Monitor and close out any resultant actions.
* Create and update on a monthly basis the project cost control tool (blue book) and report project financials to the business management function.
* Ensure invoicing and debt collection are within contract timescales.
* On a quarterly basis, arrange and present the performance of the project internally. Typical project review attendees would be the Head of projects, financial controller and the fleet planning and logistics manager.
In close co-ordination with the Heads of Projects and the fleet planning and logistics manager ensure effective management of inventory and assets across Customer Business.
* Collect, review and agree with the customer monthly availability and reliability figures. Penalties for under availability should be kept to an absolute minimum.
* Work with the assigned Technical Support Engineer to ensure contract deliverables are met and that monthly technical data is analysed and timely feedback/recommendations provided to the customer.
* Work with the Head of Projects and business management and improvement Manager to create and maintain internal operating practices to ensure the highest quality of work standards.
* Identify opportunities for further business, and liaise with the appropriate Regional Sales Manager.
* Lead the 'day to day' management of the project team (if applicable).
