This role will be expected to:

? Manage job contracts and other aspects relating to them e.g. salaries, leave, absences etc.
? Manage social benefits allocated to staff; health insurance, registration and payment to welfare organizations etc.
? Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.
? Review the staffs rules and regulations (or employee handbook) on a regular basis and make recommendations when necessary to Group as it affects the region.
? Implement and ensure adhering of new rules and regulations by all employees as instructed by Group in the region.
? Plan, supervise and coordinate activities related to employment, labour relations, and employee relations
? Interface with Group HR and external vendors and suppliers for the implementation of corporate training or training programs to meet the business needs where appropriate.
? Manage the administrative aspect of training activities.
? Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
? Advise managers on organizational policy matters

The individual for this position must have:
? A good first degree in a relevant discipline
? Minimum of 5-7 years experience in Human Resources
? An MBA in Industrial Relations or a professional certification in Human Resources and experience in the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
? Strategic Planning skills
? Conflict resolution skills and general management expertise.
? Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
? High level of interpersonal skills and integrity;
? Ability to work in a team
? Good people management skills.
