An Engineering Firm in Lagos Island needs the services of young talented OND Graduate in the following discipline;

OND (Quantity / Estate Surveyor)

Job Responsibilities

-Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client;
-Undertaking costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work; Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies;
-Performing risk and value management and cost control;
-Advising on procurement strategy;
-Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks;
-Preparing and analyzing costings for tenders;
-Allocating work to subcontractors;

Skills and Knowledge


  • a good knowledge of construction methods and materials
  • budget handling skills
  • excellent IT and maths skills
  • a methodical approach to work
  • good organizational skills
  • a clear understanding of Building Regulations and other legal guidelines
  • excellent communication and negotiating skills
  • the ability to work as part of a team.
