Graduate Trainee Recruitment(+Other Jobs) at an Oil Field Service Company



Our company is an Oil Field Service Company for the Power, Oil and Gas Industry. We started operations over two decades ago and have [COLOR=#009900 !important]strategic alliances with Overseas International ,
Companies. We provide engineering services and other related services which include pipelines services, production services, marines, [COLOR=#009900 !important]survey[/COLOR] and evaluation of facilities, safety, equipment procurement, engineering designs and construction.

We are now seeking to immediately recruit. experienced and dynamic[COLOR=#009900 !important]individuals[/COLOR] for the following positions:

1.) Mechanical Engineers (Sales & Engineering) - 3 Positions
Qualifications

• B.ENG/B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
• Not less than 5 years in Engincesing & Maintenance, out otwhich one year will be in managerial position.
• Experience in both upstream and down stream segments of the Oil & Gas Sector will be an advantage. On hand experience in Bolting, Tensioning, Torgueing. Nuts Splitting, Flange Spread Equipment and general maintenance will be required for ONE of the positions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the territory sales budget
• Grow sales within existing clients & generate additional [COLOR=#009900 !important]sales growth[/COLOR]/profit through the identification & development of new clients
• Generate appropriate documentation for all project requirements
• Attend indtistrv & customer events to keep abreast of market developments
• Maintain quality, safety & enviromnetal standards
• Quote preparation with the support from foreign [COLOR=#009900 !important]partners[/COLOR]
• Trip preparation including risk assessment with approval where applicable
• Prepare accurate revenue & manpower monthly forecasts foe each key line of business
• Maintain & develop strong working relationships with existing & potential customers through regular customer contact
• Deliver technical & commercial presentations
• Supervision of technicians in Bolting, Tensioning & Machinery
• Prepare & issue customer visit reports

2.) Trainee Engineers
Responsibilties

• Assists the Senior Engineers in the achievement of the goals of the company

Qualifications

• Minimum HND (Upper Credit) or B.ENG/BSc (2 Class Upper) in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Chemical Engineering
• At least 2 years relevant experience and must be computer literate and proficient in relevant [COLOR=#009900 !important]software packages[/COLOR].
• Must be ready [COLOR=#009900 !important]to work[/COLOR] both onshore and offshore.

3.) Assistant Accountant
Responsibilties

• Assist the Accountant to achieve the Company’s goals as regards keeping of accounting records and funds disbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum HND(Upper Credit)/BSc (2nd Class Upper) in Accounting
• At least 3 years relevant experience in audit firm or Oil & Gas industry.
• Must be Computer literate and proficient in relevant software packages.
• Must have high moral and ethical standards

4.) Senior Mechanical [COLOR=#009900 !important]Technician[/COLOR] (Static & Rotary Machines)

Responsibilities

• Work un-supervised assembling & tightening bolted joints
• Correctly use bolt tensioning. torgueing, nut splitting & flange spreading equipment
• Carries out the required number of boltitig specialism to a competent standard
• Work predominantly within all onshore & offshore environments.
• Adheres to all site related procedures & processes including permitto work, etc
• Carry out all duties with a safety “first” attitude towards the equipment & working enviromnent
• Maintains company quality, safety & environmental standards.
• Take action & cooperate by ensuring the consistent quality of products & services to customers.
• Maintain a high standard of tidiness within own working area.
• Adhere to safe & specified pressures when tightening or torgueing joints
• Assess specific task requirements including identifying potential hazards through the use of risk assessments.
• Accurate & timely completion & submission of all job related documentation including flange tightening reports/joint completion[COLOR=#009900 !important]certificates[/COLOR], customer time sheets & expenses forms.
• Work closely with other disciplines on site to ensure the professional & safe completion of all tasks
• Interface with the client on site in a profesionaI manner & represent our company to the highest standards at all times.

Qualifications

• OND in Mechanical Engineering or National Technical [COLOR=#009900 !important]Certificate[/COLOR] in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
• Not less than 5 years for OND & 7 years for National TechnicalCertificate holders in Maintenance in Oil & Gas industry

5.) Mechanical Technician (Static Rotary Machines)

Responsibilities

• Same as Senior Mechanical Technicians

Qualification

• OND in Mechanical Engineering or National Technical Certificate in Mechamcal Engineering or its equivalent
• Not less than 2 years for OND & 4 years for National TechnicalCertificate holder in Maintenance in Oil & Gas Industry
