That is cool.I was also mailed. In fact a lady from NlNG called my line to inform me that they have sent me another invitation billed for 23rd of this month and that I should confirm my availability for the test via mail. The previous test date(10th August) coincided with my NNPC interview,so I had to go for the interview. This really cool!

Re: NLNG trainee elect.officer VS Mech. Technician
The test is very simple and doesn't need any special preparation. Just the fault diagnose test, but it will still be explained to you by NLNG test coordinator(s). Find attached a pretty example of fault diagnosis test. Take time to study this material very well . Study shape turning (GMAT 2007), your elementary mathematics, decimal fraction biased. Let's go there!

@oseri,thanks so much for your effort and kind gesture but can you give us the general format for the test,i mean all the sections involved in the test. Thanks
-
Re: NLNG trainee elect.officer VS Mech. Technician
The test is divided into 5 Sections..mechanical reasoning, electrical reasoning, spatial orientation,Numerical and fault diagnosis...they are not really much of a big deal, its all about speed and accuracy..hope this helps, best of luck guys

Re: NLNG trainee elect.officer VS Mech. Technician
This one just coming in but i would want a good Nigerian to validate this information: I gathered that NLNG manning pays #11000 before tax for the position of TEO.

I can't understand;did you want to write #110000? If the figure was not a mistake ,then, was it meant for the period of training, and what is the duration? I am only curious, asking many questions at a time....lol
-
Re: NLNG trainee elect.officer VS Mech. Technician
@oseri,i really dont know the exact amount, but i know its more than 110000
-
Re: NLNG trainee elect.officer VS Mech. Technician
sorry, na sleep of figure. It's actually #110000 during a period of three years training after which u get #350000 (4th year and so on) after tax but i'm not totally sure of these figures, hence, I need someone to validate it.

You 've been very resourceful, please, just as you gave a detailed explanation on how to approach questions 1-3 ( derivatives of example or practice test 1), could you do same for questions 7 & 8( derivatives of example or practice test 2)!

Re: NLNG trainee elect.officer VS Mech. Technician
I know guys that got the LNG job without knowing any person. The test is in five modules, Technical test battery by SHL: Verbal reasoning (36 questions in 20mins), Numerical reasoning (25 questions in 12mins), Spatial test (36 questions in 10mins), mechanical reasoning (36 questions in 18mins), and fault diagnose (36 questions in 18mins)

Exactly. Listening carefully to the instructions before the test helps. Accuracy and speed is very essential coupled with divine favor.
