The job: The position is a Fixed Term Contract position for 2 years. The appointee will be required :
• To provide advisory support for NLNG Ship Manning Limited (NSML), a subsidiary of Nigeria LNG limited to position the organization as a fully fledged Manning Company.
•To lead in the definition of structures, systems and processes required to upgrade to best in class standards manning operations.
•To guide the new organization in the acquisition of experience and network of relationships with IMO, ITF, UK MCA and relevant bodies in the international maritime industry.

The Person: The right candidate should:
•Possess a Class 1 (Deck) Certificate of Competence or a good university degree in Humanities or Social Sciences with Commercial Shipping Knowledge.
•Should be a Captain/Master or Chief Officer with 3 – 5 years’ experience in the running of a Manning Agency; or degree holder with 10 or more years cognate experience in HR practices, 5 years of which must have been spent at the level of Head of core Manning function in a reputable International Manning Company.
•Evidence of a sound knowledge of processes and functions in the management of a manning agency.
•Evidence of networking contacts at IMO, ITF and other Maritime Regulatory bodies in UK (MCA) and other jurisdictions.
•Basic knowledge of IT & Project Management (setting priorities)

The Job: The appointee will be required to co-ordinate the QA/QC activities to meet company objectives for Asset Information Management. He/ She will ensure that all QA/QC activities relating to Asset Information Management are delivered ‘with no defects to the NLNG Production Division.

•Co-ordinate QNQC activities related to Asset Information Management for all Engineering disciplines

The Job: The appointee will be required to ensure the successful operation of NLNG’s Server infrastructure through administration and maintenance to meet agreed service levels as well as satisfy the business requirements with particular focus on the user (NLNG Staff) needs.

The duties will include, but .are not limited to the following:

•Possession of MCSE Certification 2003 and above is mandatory.
