Topic: Nigerian atomic energy commission recruits fresh graduate

Adeoye09. I am currently working somewhere, but i am thinking of opting for the JOB if the offer is worth it. I think the salary makes sense, but can you please brief us if there is any benefit like upfront (or 28-days), end-of-the-year bonus, etc.

All your responses to the previous posts highly appreciated.

Sorry for my late response,I was just too busy.......the benefit is very okay, the Federal government is really pumping money into the commission....sure,there is end-of-the-year bonus for staff and if you perform satisfactorily,your promotion is certain........yeah, they send their staff abroad for further studies in atomic energy (that is if they see the potential in you o);however some are sent to schools in Nigeria that have related courses,depending on your intellectual prowess sha.

@Adeoye09, is it compulsory to attach birth certificate as part of the supporting docs. Ur prompt response will b highly appreciated................................cheers

their test in 2009 was 2 sections: the first was 2 compulsory essays,the 2nd was Quantitative reasoning similar to that of GRE and Verbal...mehn the vocabularies were just too much..I never thought I would make it to the interview stage.....even the DG said our result was very bad but they just had to choose the best......

@talix, i wud sugest u stay put where u r. Workn in such a place won't b fun at all! With d way things r done in nig, i tell u, there wil b several cases of exposures 2radiations, atleast at d initial stages. Wel if d money is worth d risk, den go 4 it. Jst my opinion anyway.

@ade, tnx 4 d reply. a frnd of mine dat got d employment last year left 4 studies abroad, bin tryin 2 contact him 2 kno if it was d commission dat sponsored him outside, dat was y i asked. @ aragon, kinda agree wit u, bt wit d unemployment situation in naija, pipl tend 2 work wher dey ordinarily wont lik 2. lets kip hopin 4 d best anyway
