I think we the HOPEFULS should seriously commence and intensify efforts towards this mass protest, especially those of us who stay at Abuja. I've always maintained that peaceful dialogue has never yielded any good fruit in this country. Violence and drums of was is the only language that the authorities of this nation understand and respond positively to. The Niger Delta militants did it and today they have taken their destiny in their own hands. Infact the Niger Delta Militants (most of whom never had the priviledge of tertiary or even secondary education) but who went through the amnesty program are presently many times much better than majority of Nigerian Graduates. Today governmment is begging Boko Haram for dialogue and soon their demands will be met by the same government who is taking us for granted. Africa is generally a stubborn race and our leaders are always demonised with that same stubborn spirit. Our independence from colonial masters was gotten on the alter of struggle and sacrifice. Now is the time for all Nigeria youths to rise and fight for emancipation. We cannot keep allowing the systemic bad leadership continue to ruin our future and purge ur into further darkness. It has happened in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Syria, Mali, Senegal, etc. Heavens will not fall if it happens here in Nigeria neither will the Earth cease to exist. NIGERIAN YOUTHS ARISE cos now is the time for action. One thing i know for sure is that whether they like it or not, whether by self will or under duress, the NNPC management must conclude this very recruitment.

My fellow hopefuls, the best thing 2 do now is 2 OCCUPY NNPC come 16th of JUNE. Its gonna b a peaceful protest with our placards. Am sure the media will b there and the news will b all over town dat NNPC deceived us wit their recruitment process. At least the minister should b able 2 answer our questions as to why we are yet 2 b called. I believe if we coordinate this movement, we will have a result. So pls let us bring in ideas on how 2 go about these. 1 love guys

June 16th falls on Saturday, let choose 14th, Thur or 15th friday of June for the protest.
I support the idea of going on a peacefl protest on y NNPC and DPR recruitment r bn delayed 4 ths long even whn money hav bn approved 4 a speedy conclusion of d process.
14th June should b better. Lets occupy the towers till the letters of both NNPC and DPR hopefls are released.
ppl dat have paid philip consulting, paid demselves interview allowances but have failed to pay us ours are dey really intrested in dis recruitment?
Actions speaks louder than words fellow hopefuls. 99% of those clamoring for a protest will be nowhere to be found.
I hope I'm wrong but I'm certain I'm not.
Thursday, june 14th, 2012 would be beta bcos chosing friday bcos most govt. Offices close earlier on fridays so let us keep to that day if we are 2 or 3 we shall by d grace of god, i will be in abuja dat day god's willing. H.g.i.s forget dat u dey say dat people would not show up, unless u don't need nnpc jobs. Dis action will be halted unless nnpc calls.
tohbad, we have heard several info for d release of our appointments but nothing showed up while some pple with long legs taking chances over others when Nigeria belongs to all of us, this time around , no going back on June 14 peaceful protest when we shall carry placards. not that some of us are idle but we deserve the better offers, who does not like good things. We have prayed enough, now for action. Nigeria is a jungle where everybody does anything he/she likes, because if we are not careful, NNPC may come out and advert for another recruitment after PIB is passed after taken their own people. No way this time around.
Mind u, its nt only the NNPC and DPR hopefl wil involve in the protest bt a handfl of Nigerian, mostly the youth, who bliv this regime doesnt hav the youth at hearth.
The protest wil go on unless letters are released b4 14th June
