Wolesmile had said it all. D truth is dat only God can save common man in nig. Don't b amazed dat nnpc has been calling pple 4 medicals by politics, shuld things continue like dis?i pray dat our waiting won't b futile. Honestly, i m nt hapy with d way things are done. D stuff is being done underground nd many ve gone 4 medicals, take it or leave it. D initial list had been politically distorted. When wil nigeria b gud? God we look unto u 4 a change.

@ lapoetical, roll, roll, roll, like the ebbs of a river, the tides of which no mortal can measure, run, run ,run, like a genius with a northern star, I can almost touch the intellectual liquid dripping from your pen, your argument is well deposited like grains of gold at the bank of a river, only to be treasured by those in the know. That was a nice throw from your linguistic armoury.

@ all, for us to lift the container of merit and eschew undue process we must go through the body building school of value reorientation , corruption is the live-blood that flows through our veins , if two EH have been invited for medicals that shouldn’t be strange, after all we are in Nigeria and we are all corrupt. A man or woman who is made a minister by the favour of the nobles must work to retain their friendship and should before anything else try to massage their ego and be under their protection, this is the typical drama being rehearsed and prepared for shooting by the NNPC’s cast spearheaded by the honourable minister, all NNPC hopefuls would be forced to grab a copy, either pirated or original is inconsequential.
May I ask us these questions
    (1) How did you get your previous and current job, did you get an uncle or other influential persons involved or was it purely on merit ?
    (2) How did you get your 1st class or 2.1 ? did you bribe lecturers , do slot in, or make heavy payments at the academic unit which led to some 1st class and 2.1 being de-listed because of some departmental or faculty policy on maximum number of 1.1 and 2.1 to be produced per session.
    (3) How did you get your admission into the university or polytechnic ? Because you knew the registrar, faculty officer or professor ?, or it was because you excelled in your Jamb, o levels and other requirements.
Choose from the above mentioned schismatic peculiarities, if your answer falls on the positive slide of the divide, sincerely all you need is just more prayers, because you are highly likely to nail it, but if your answer falls on the negative slide you know what to do, repent and pray for forgiveness that the spirit of the haunted should not haunt you, and if you are too big to pray, then your political correctness must be above excellent.
Some of us wax prophetic after the unscrupulous usurpation of what belonged to others, you dispossessed political orphans of their job because you were more politically correct, merit is in a sorry state, it has descended the steep slope and near-do- wells or no-do wells occupy the highest echelon of preference, now when the beam falls on the all-important, never to be forgotten, corruption rich, money doubling , cake sharing, bank account friendly and bonus happy NNPC, you suddenly remembered that merit must be the watch word , you cared less about the victims of your political spendthrift whose names were replaced with yours because you had the political capital, these poor lads have suffered from your political largesse.
The thin line between politic and God’s favour has faded out, we no longer know the difference between these twin concepts, while they are similarly the same ,they are also different similarly. Food for thought but none on the table.
I must particularly commend JA for his devotion to the house, even though it is not incentivized, your existence is a plus factor.
Where God calls the shot, no one can truncate or short the call, the juridical hours is still very much in view, it shall indeed be a merry yuletide (Christmas) , When last did you check your dancing shoe if it is still there? Good luck to everybody as the much awaited list has pulled its trigger, set to release the names of successful NNPC hopefuls .

God bless u all in the forum, u really fed many people with information out there (unregistered) members like myself, been negative or positive, it really ease tension and make one to decide and plan for the worse, i was really motivated by many post and decided to joint at dis hour, some might ask why now? wen d battle is almost over, is still not over cos we are still expecting d letters, people out there lets try at all times to swallow our anger and accommodate one another as some has a very short fuse than others, and u can't expect everybody to be positive, that is life. God bless u all, i pray for all of us to make it, if others doesn't make it, we pray for Almighty to offer them better than this. Peace.

Political or no political backing, there are some of us that wil be employed on merit. If that were not d case, we won't b here. So let's stop hammering on lobbying and political godfatherism. We should pray 2 our merciful God 2 grant us grace. 4get d problem, go 4 d solution. The end is in sight.

Temmymighty, JA and prof. Salvage have all testify to the fact that the process is still ongoing and letters will soon be dispatched. Patience is what we need. There is always light at the end of a tunnel. It is well!
