I am begining to doubt if these people really have anything for us. Is there fairness in this country at all? Only god can save us.

@Jamfad, that is exactly the point I was trying to make in my last post. How can it be justified that the recruitment was fair. Ok, if at all it was, how can the delay in calling the 2012 applicants for examinations be justified? After 1 full calendar year? I really believe these people in charge are out of touch with reality because they hide behind the cloak of "government" and carry on as if all is well. I wonder how these directors will feel if their own biological children have been held-up by an employment process for this long. Be patient, very soon, soon, very very soon are some of the things we've heard time and again concerning this recruitment on this forum but are the issues of life patient? Do they wait for when you get a good job? Will your house rent wait for you to get a job? Will Malaria wait for you to be able to treat yourself before striking? I took ill a while back and I really wonder what will have happened to me if I didn't have N2,000 that day to treat myself with no one around me to give me a dime? It is high time these people do the needful apologetically by releasing the letters if truly they are being held up and call the 2012 set up for exams so another process can begin. Just how will the Nigerian system work if a whole parastatal as NNPC has not concluded a recruitment process in almost 3 years? What of DPR? So many agencies of government delaying recruitment including the armed forces and police? Just how much do these people think unemployed or underemployed youths can hold on in the midst of the pressures on the average youth. Not everyone was born with a silver spoon and though some were, others have no spoon at all while a lot more do not even have the food to eat let alone having cutlery. In as much as I do not like commenting on the nation or even our dear president, I will have to pick an exception from his state of the nation address in which he said while commenting on terrorism that poor people cannot afford arms; very true, but sir, poverty makes people extremely willing tools in the hands of these sponsors. All I see holding the youth of this Country to stick to good values and virtues amid all these ill-wind is that the youth realize that a good name is better than a bad one with riches. @Jamfad, your comment struck the right chord within me and that's why I voiced out. I know there are thousand other youths if not millions boiling within them with anger and other things...How can you explain a situation where after NYSC you are still looking for a job such that one has almost clocked the required years for employment as an experienced hire in unemployment, every where you go you are turned down for not having experience and at the same time you try starting up a business to keep body and soul together, the capital is not forth coming, government taxation agencies want to see this permit that permit etc.. How many people here know that even having a Radio in your shop requires a Radio permit? My car that I used to hold body and soul together by doing car hire, carrying goods and taxi services was stolen about 7 months back now and till date, the Police keep telling me they are still investigating the matter. I know of one, an engineering graduate who had to take up working in a poultry just to survive after job-seeking for a long time. Please look around and see all that is happening. Our Governors, Ministers, Commissioners, Local Government chairmen and Deputies and everyone in government who live in opulence are ALL NIGERIANS and not foreigners, how do you then explain that we do not feel their impact on good governance. People are not asking for much, all we want is food to eat, a roof over our heads, basic amenities and a means of steady income. I could write volumes but I will stop here. GOD BLESS NIGERIA AT 53!!!!

    What a touching piece.

Do not expect anything from the government, and even NNPC.

It is very hard to do, but you should focus on God almighty.

I knew from the start that NNPC is not calling any second batch.

If there is any space left after the successful one were called, they would fill it with their people.

That is why i never expected anything called second batch.
