@Obogho,
If you earn more than 15M per annum as you claim, I don't know what you are still doing on this thread, except you work in a bank where you are been stressed out, or you are in the brink of losing your job and you are looking for a quick way out.
You won't even get close to that in NNPC as a new or experienced hire. And your expectations may be cut short, like many engineers presently posted to refineries as operators!
I am just a visiting member of the thread.
Cheers.....
It is well guys.it is well.
I have no reason to lie about my income because nobody knows me from Adam here and I do not work in a bank. I got my current job about a year and half ago and truly know that NNPC cannot offer what will take me away from here at this moment. Note that it was not this juicy when I joined the company but God has been so good to me, especially in the last few months. If you check my previous comments on this thread, I once narrated how I went to the towers when the first list was released, saw an entirely strange name with my phone number and contact address on the list of successful candidates from my state (Kogi precisely). I knew something was amiss and felt so bad but did not know that God had a greater plan for me where I am working. I cannot just leave now because I feel a bond with this thread and its members and honestly want to see all these end well.
I was in the UK when the whole exercise started and this thread was the only source of information I had before I came to write the test in the most inhuman condition I can imagine in Benin. In fact, it was on this thread I first learnt that people were invited for interviews, I was motivated to search and found my invitation among my junk emails and had less than 24 hours to plan and travel down again. The interview went so well that one of the panelists hugged and congratulated me, and my decision to come back to Nigeria was partly influenced by a positive outcome I envisaged from this exercise. Luckily, I got my current job a few months after I moved back to this country and for me then, it was just a temporary one to keep body and soul together until the "almighty" NNPC letter rolls out. Man proposes but God disposes.
That's my story, my testimony and the reason why I cannot leave this thread just yet. I pray for greater testimonies for all those who desire one in Jesus name (amen)!!
Thank you bruv!!
It is not if him that runneth or of him that willeth; but of God that showeth MERCY...................

The money is gone unless God says otherwise and for God to say otherwise does not imply that you have to shout. You have to define what you really want;30k, letter or Gods favour(miracle). Thanks, no hard feelings bro.
NIGERIA TO SELL HER REFINERIES IN FOUR MONTHS, SAYS DAM.
Nigeria, Africa's largest oil producer, plans to begin privatising its four state-owned oil refineries before the end of the first quarter, Petroleum Minister Diezani Alison-Madueke said.
"We would like to see major infrastructural entities such as refineries moving out of government hands into the private sector," Alison-Madueke said in an interview with Bloomberg TV Africa in London. "Government does not want to be in the business of running major infrastructure entities and we haven't done a very good job at it over all these years."
A presidential audit of the facilities last year recommended their sale due to inadequate government funding and "sub-optimal performance." The refineries, which have a combined 445,000 barrel-a-day capacity, should be privatized within 18 months, according to the report submitted to President Goodluck Jonathan in November 2012.
While Nigeria is also Africa's top crude exporter and the most populous with more than 160 million people, it relies on fuel imports to meet more than 70 percent of its needs. Its state-owned plants operate at a fraction of their capacity because of poor maintenance and aging equipment. The West African nation exchanges 60,000 barrels a day of crude for products with Trafigura Beheer BV and a similar amount with Societe Ivoirienne de Raffinage's refinery in Ivory Coast, according to Nigeria National Petroleum Corp.
"We are right now undergoing a major turnaround maintenance program" of the refineries, Alison-Madueke said.
Improvements to the two-unit 210,000 barrel-a-day Port Harcourt refinery, the country's biggest, will be completed by the end of the year, to be followed by enhancements at the Warri and Kaduna sites in 2014, according to the NNPC. Warri has a daily processing capacity of 125,000 and Kaduna 110,000 barrels.
Thanks for your comment but your perspective was not properly underlined the issue raised. The fact is that we live in a corruption-inclined nation. Do u think if we take the issue up our reimbursements would not be paid? Must we keep queit and allow our rights being denied, we should not be selfish to defend wrongdoings. Reimbursements is totaly different from appointments. Ok

NUPENG KICKS AGAINST PLANNED SALE OF REFINERIES, ADVOCATES BUILDING OF MORE.
Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG, has kicked against the Federal Government’s plan to sell the nation’s four refineries next year, insisting that selling the refineries is not the solution to importation of refined petroleum products, but the building of more refineries.
It wondered why government would suddenly wake up to talk about selling the public refineries in 2014, warning that any decision on the refineries without the involvement of NUPENG and its Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, PENGASSAN, counterpart, would be resisted with everything at labour’s disposal.
The union registered its displeasure in a statement through its General Secretary, Mr. Isaac Aberare, saying it was “worried about the sudden proposal by the federal government to sell the nation’s four refineries next year. Caution must be exercised in the proposed sale as all the stakeholders must be involved, if the plan will see the light of day. NUPENG states that the sale of the refineries is not the solution to the importation of petroleum products into the country but the problem is government’s blunt refusal to do the Turn-Around-Maintenance of these refineries over the years to make them function optimally. We stress that a lot of intrigues, power play, selfish interest to protect the cabal importing fuel had come to play, leaving the equipments in the refineries to rot away.”
The union argued that the nation’s refineries were organizations in the commanding height of the nation’s economy which should remain in the control of government for security and strategic reasons and should not be allowed to be sold to government cronies and front men, as it had happened in the power sector.
“NUPENG is of the belief that more refineries should be established, in the model of the NLNG strategic partnering and more investors given tax holidays and land to enable them construct new ones just like the initiative of the Dangote refinery instead of trying to sell the nation’s assets as scraps,” the statement said.
Please as many as people in the forum raising news of the 2nd list, pls hold it if your news has no facts. Its God we hold on to.
@Oluwambe_Omolorun, I got this kind of email from NNPC too,,please what is it all about? I'm asking because the recruitment exercise was done in 2011 and it had already been concluded, so I am just wondering if it was a mistake from NNPC recruiting team or just an oversight. Please reply,,Thanks
