Abt 4700 did interview,595 were taken leaving abt 4105.Now if d second batch is far smaller dan d 1st batch(which i guess shld b d case) dont u tink we shld hv a change of mind in hoping 100%.what is d use when 4105 people kip hoping day & nite for 50 slots? Pls try n confirm d possible 'strenght' of d list 4 us.we hv waited 4 almost 2yrs & i tink we shld nw begin 2 manage d hrt break pls.tnk u
@all, dis is just my speculation but based on real info I got this morning. Atomicity might be correct in terms of october timing. GGM,HR was sent on compulsory leave becos he hasn't gone 4 d past 2years. 2nd batch is on hold 4 now. Probably when he returns- who knows? Buh d 2nd batch is a settled fact. As 4 d number, I can't tell. 1luv

Many people also confirmedthe 2nd list.All what we hear from our sources are being mixed with our faith bcos one doesn't expect NNPC to recruit 595 at this time apart excluding rejected offers.It was yesterday I was giving my own analysis when some people didn't understand it, what we want is that today ,tomorrow it will be released.I had never given any time,only confirmed the existence of 2nd list.

As a matter of fact, the coming list requires fervent prayer for its release and God's favor to be on the list, though we confirmedits existence. From my own thinking, there's politics behind the release of the new advert which is yet to be cleared to me.Why would NNPC refuse to cater for higher num of intakes at least 1000 in 2010 exercise in the 2012 Appropriation and train them together rather going for new recruitment which will also require funds to conduct tests.We know there are new graduates on ground who can still be catered for in the coming budget.
There's politics behind the release of the new NNPC job advert which isn't clear to me. I want people to reason along this side.
Complete politics...after reading that post on , I am convinced that GEJ and his government in trying to hype his government as one creating more mass employment opportunities, when actually there is a very snail progress in employment going on presently. "why would NNPC employ only 595 out of 5000plus applicants that went for the 2010 recruitment interview after a long and rigorous process, and only for them (NNPC) to reappear with a new advert for mass recruitment the preceding month, what then are they trying to tell Nigerians?" Because NNPC cannot tell us boldly that those applicants that scaled through to the interview stage of the last recruitment are not good enough to be employed for them to abandon them and start a new recruitment, cos they are still going to be the same people that will apply for this new one with little more from new graduates...curbed from .
As we await the 2nd list, a lot is bordering me. Is it fair for NNPC to have catered for 595 new personnel in the 2012 budget no matter the case may be? When will the next batch go and meet them at training? or only non-technical candidates will dominate the 2nd batch? Even not all GTs,OPs accepted the offers. Oh God , cause the next batch be released by your mighty power.

If it had not been pressure mounted on NNPC online,offline, in media, that little 1st batch wouldn't have been called and when it was called we deduced that it was not totaly on merit.SO, we should start mounting pressure on the release of the next batch,our efforts must not be in vain.

Oh Lord, don't let our efforts in the NNPC 2010 recruitment be in vain, Oh Lord cause things to happen in the 2nd list, surprise us oh Lord. We did well in tests and interviews,we spent our money to Abuja for interviews without reinbursements . Oh lord this is our prayers.

We must be ready to fight the battle of the 2nd batch if we must get it bcos I know strongly that God who created human beings in the universe including us and NNPC management , must release this 2nd batch in a short time.
Clamouring from different quarters was part of it my brother. We all knew how long it took b4 that 1st batch came out, I know something must happen on the 2nd batch sooner though i didn't have any particular date but it must be.

Many people here are just sore losers. Its common knowledge that Nigerian Universities churn out half-baked graduates every year. These graduates actually lack very good theoritical foundation. They read only to pass examinations and not really to add knowledge and value. This is typical of most engineering graduates. what they have left after graduation is residual knowledge. You see them on job boards/fora asking for past questions and test formats whenever they are shortlisted to take a test. They expect to perform wonderfully after this fire-brigade preparation approach. People are recruited based on compentencies they can demonstrate they possess, this has nothing to do with having a 2.1 or first class. You see them getting all religious, turning job vacancy threads to fellowship meetings and prayer rooms.The sensible ones focus on getting better and read daily to update their knowledge. So you believe the 595 people who got in did so with political connect? Wake up!!! Focus on getting better, opportunity favours the prepared man. Coming here to whine about recruitment policies will not make you better neither will it get you a job. Change your perception and fix yourself, those who got the jobs are humans too.

I have my own permutations and questions to ask,but it won't help this forum,so I shut up my mouth.However, even the posts people see as 'silly' are very useful,atleast it makes me laugh off the workload pressure which will soon end.
I think I like the maturity and definiteness of Terraco's info and the audacity of atomicity's dreams & predictions.They may turn out true or otherwise,but I like the consistency.
