A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls

Hi Guys
I was once an hopeful who usually visited this site, especially this forum almost evry free chance i had to d internet, but today my story has changed.

During d release of employment letters by NNPC in July, when i discovered my letter was not forth comin, i became so FRUSTRATED ( yeah, evry bit of d meaning of d word ) upto d extent that i just couldn't concentrate on a 14k/month teaching job i had. It was on one of such days of my FRUSTRATIONS, i visited this site, but a different forum, n What i saw has changed my attitude to Life since then. To cut the story short, someone had posted on that forum about receiving an interview invitation from a company i had already done a phone interview with sometime in May, having initially applied for an opening i also saw this on website in April.

I checked my mail n i was also invited for d interview, and Whatever happened from then till now has Really surprised my person as regards what God can do. While i was so optimistic about NNPC's call, i never knew God's plan for me was totally different. God Himself gave me the job at d end of d day n I'm to resume Very soon.

Guys why did i share this testimony, it is not to make anyone feel abandoned, rather, it is to strengthen u n make u see that God is able to help u beyond NNPC. Be u a muslim or a Christian or Whatever religion just keep Believing God for help, rather than man.

I must say that d oil n gas industry is not all entrenched with corruption as we think, as i and a couple of Friends ar living witnesses. I didn't have to know or meet anyone for some sort of favour, it was purely God's favour as i wouldn't want to say merit because i met guys who had better grades n were smarter than me at d interview, yet God picked me ahead.

Some of us hav become so disappointed about this NNPC recruitment n hav also failed to look ahead. Pls i encourage today, to stand up n look up, for better days lie ahead. I've been there, i know hw FRUSTRATING it is, but let us try n look ahead. The key doesn't lie in d past, it resides in d future. Come on guys, lets shake it off n move on.

Good AM guyz, I rightfully confirmed frm a colleague who got his letter like 3 weeks ago that he was made to understand that there is gonna be another batch. details of when and how is wat he can't give.my concern is the logic behind recruitng in batches. The best practice is to dispatch letters once but with different resumption date as it was during interview.Having said all this, that does not remove the fact dat best practice is not always being used in nigeria cos of personal interests.hence, 2nd batch is very possible. My only advise is for all hopefuls to move ahead with other plans,tnk of someting to do, if NNPC calls good, if not life goes on. Have a 1daful week ahead.

From where i stand, i can tell u that not long from today, the courier companies will recieve anoda round of letters. There is now a date for the calls. Pls celebrate God's faithfulness

God is faithful and we shall rejoice at last.We were told that there would be another batch but delay spirit wanted to be discouraging us but we still keep on our faith in God who created Heaven and Earth.God is real. Terraco, we appreciate your timely info.

newcargo posted that new recriutment is coming out today. Kalokalo also said its over. Now today is 3rd & nothing like new recruitment any where. I just wonder why some people like hearing & spreading bad news.

This letter is published today on page 18 of The Guardian Newspapers. That's a good one Terraco. I pray this long waiting will end soon.

Brethen, concerning this exercise, it has humbled me.
There are several things we do not understand.
So when some one has an info, it may sound stupid.
Just take it or leave it, dont criticize it, you dont know the source.
Under my nose, the recruitment was advancing, and i never knew or took notice.
There are diferent types of sources, this forum should be able to enjoy the synergy....

O Lord God, as the rumor of mass recruitment has turned out to be true, let that of 2nd batch also be.
May they release this 2nd batch because some of us have crossed 29 now (to apply as GT) and we are yet to have the 10 years experience required to apply as EH.
