We had to educate people like you who might not see the injustice in the first place so that you undestand it better when the action is being taken. How can NDDC sponsor just 200 people in nine states when one state can sponsor more than that. As far as I am concerned all the candidates that were shortlisted for the interview stage that had admissions should have been awarded the scholarship. Recently 3642 so called ex militants would join 26, 368 militants that the Federal Government is traiing to make the total number of militants up to 30, 000, so tell me what is 1089 geniune intelligent scholars that want to further their educate abroad.Quote:

Please do accept my apologies for replying late. This is because I spent a greater part of yesterday in transit and so had little access to internet through out the day. I got your message and following what you have said we should expect some more names soon. What remains however questionable is if these names will be selected fairly, the selection criteria that will be used and how many slot per states remain available for "Legitimate" candidates. Please help me ask when your source when NDDC will most likely release the final list so we know exactly what line of action to take next.Quote:

Guys, I believe in the next few days people will start discussing about NDDC Scam International Postgraduate Scholarship. It's such a mess. Can't they sponsor those that were shortlisted, there they will start telling us about budget. It's funny, one of the most corrupt agency in Nigeria where nothing is done on merit even contracts have to be lobbied and at the end of the day, the job is abandoned.
Take statistics of abandoned NDDC projects in the region and you will be amazed.
I believe we are on course on this cause of exposing NDDC. I have contacted some twitter heavyweights and gotten positive response. I also sent the link to a number of media houses. I believe we'll get our voices heard soon.
Having in mind that victory is exposing the corruption in the Commission, not just in getting this scholarship alone (which won't be a bad plus), I believe that Victoria Ascerta!

i commend the work of both active and passive members of the house. i really wish we could invite CNN to hear our voice. our tomorrow starts from our plans for today. if our voice must be heard we must be united and speak one voice. it is high time we form a union of NIGER-DELTA UNEMPLOYED GRADUATES. if illiterates would shake this country then we the graduates can do better. it has gotten to the time where the federal gov of Nigeria should pay every graduate just as the pay militants. it is time for us to write company test and see our result that day and get the cut-off of the exam. it is time for us to command respect and value for graduates.
it is very possible that every graduate in NIGER-DELTA is paid 50k mnthly, it is done outside this country. we only need unity, one voice.
