My opinion is that you have to bear in mind that a bird at hand is worth two in the bush, no one gurantees u auto employment after the training, it only enhances your relevance to the oil and gas sector.
Except you are certain that the offer you got does not stand a chance against the trianing, the ball is back in your court, finally it will boil down to the fact that it is your call to make

@ oky I'm not frm rivers I'm frm edo. Don't really stay in ph but I'm frequent there. Where's d venue for dat arrival induction n flag off stuff? Don't know anything about it. I'm in lagos now is it really 1st n 2nd?

@LARMANDANX:The newspaper Ad said-Arrival & Check in on Feb 2@ ALGATE HOTEL GRA, & Induction @ Presidential Hotel on Feb 3.These NDDC guys r poor i n givin info.Till now no further details hav been given.I guess w e jst have 2 mak enquiries maybe at their office or so.

I am guessing successful candidates would be checked into the Algate Hotel on the 1st, and NDDC would probably provide logistics to Hotel Presidential for the induction on the 2nd

Please anyone with more concrete info should be feed the house

@ cipha thanks alot for the info but I heard that they usually conduct interviews after the aptitude test and i have some friends dat did the NDDC oil & gas scholarship aptitude test way before we did ours who were still going for interview as at nov last year and are still yet to leave the country but from d way they sounded in the list, it seems they have taken everyone whos name appeared there. Also, it doesnt sound like the training is abroad even if they said so is it? just curious.
