Requirements

Projects and Operations logistics experience with an Operator and/or Logistics provider

Experience of exploration/appraisal/development drilling operations.

Proven Logistics experience (Transport, Warehouse and Materials, Marine, Aviation) is paramount; with the following academic qualifications being advantageous:

Diploma in Transport Management and added advantage.

A degree in a business or management related subject

Minimum 10 years proven senior logistics management experience in, upstream oil & gas, ideally with Offshore Logistics exposure

International exposure within an Oil and Gas operating environment.

Job Description

Contract Management and including advice for selection of logistics services

Responsible for ensuring that operational logistics budget are developed and met, including targets for operating cost are reliability.

Liaise with technical and finance teams regarding evaluation, procurement and delivery of materials

Local Support to Regional Director and Country Manager as required

Ensure all operations are carried out within community HSE, Security Regulation and anti-corruption policies

Responsible for people development and technology deployment

Manage all logistics field personnel including contractor and employees.

Responsible for flight and ticket reservation for the operations team and handle the transportation for the team

Functional excellence in the movement/support of personnel and equipment to ensure that high standard are maintained

Interface with management team to ensure functional strategy and operational plans are aligned with business strategy and plan

New ventures support as a one- stop providing logistics input for all farm-in opportunities that are considered
