Responsibilities

  • This position is for a strong candidate with extensive mechanical maintenance background who can enhance support in repair and maintenance workshop concentrating on the maintenance of drilling systems.
  • Manages activities of maintenance area to support production in meeting their operational activity.
  • Develops and manages budget compliance.
  • Makes recommendations on work place facility and tooling requirements.
  • Coordinates specifications and procurement of capital expenditures.
  • Responsible for planning, coordination and direction of all maintenance operations, up to and including installation of equipment, preventative maintenance and facility/equipment repair to support operations.
  • Ensures competent technical workforce to conduct business.
  • Inspection and disposition of parts and equipment.
  • Facilitate third-party repair of equipment when required.
  • Maintains records.
  • Schedules maintenance of equipment.
  • Maintain equipment records and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programs.
  • Handles special projects as assigned.
  • Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.


Requirements

  • 2 year Technical Degree.
  • 5+ years maintenance related experience in electro-mechanical function.
  • Hands on Experience on Repair and Maintenance of Drilling Systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have basic computer skills
  • Good technical skills.
  • Knowledge of machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to guide and direct employees.
