Job Description
An engineering and human resource company which was incorporated on the 17 day of December, 1992, with the objective of building, nurturing, and developing a unique and efficient establishment, professional, reputable and reliable in whichever area of service it vows capacity and competence.
These areas include manpower supply and support services, oilfield services, water supply schemes or projects, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering consultancy and construction services, equipment leasing, haulage and transportation services as well as supply of construction materials and equipment such as pumps, valves, meters, pipes and fittings, fire fighting and personal protective equipment and product.

Purpose:
To develop target Competence in Operation and Maintenance staffs.
To participate in execution to ensure flawless commissioning and transition during handover to Asset.
To identify the right resource/expertise and mobilise the same for competence development.
To deploy effective and transparent assessment criteria.

Responsibilities:
Identify and Close individual competency gaps for nominated O&M staff before the start up.
Interact with Contractors to get the right exposure to SPDC staff on daily basis.
Organise Toolbox meetings, Safety meetings.
Assign daily activities to individual based on gaps.
Guide, explain and clarify technical doubts on the job at GU site.
Develop and maintain weekly action plan and provide daily update and monthly reports on all training issues including close-out plans and activities.
Interview and assess staff weekly.
Feedback / Guide / motivate the staff at the site.
Report on progress / feedback to staff of gap closures.
Quality and timeliness of training provided.
Produce competent staff for commissioning and startup.
Organise presentation by specialists/vendors /commissioning teams.
Continuous monitoring of staff competence progress.
Produce competent staff for commissioning and start up.

Qualifications/Experience:
OND or HND in Instrument discipline.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Instrument areas like control system of Gas Turbine / Gas Compressor /Generators /Pumps / DCS - PAS / SIS/ Field Instrumentation / Logics .
Should be well versed in Trouble shooting.
