Ideal candidates must demonstrate good analytical skills, thorough understanding of accounting and billing management. Success in this role requires a high level of integrity, ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients while they are delighted and clear affinity for the vision and mission of KITS technologies limited.
The position requires understanding of proper accounting relating to sales and purchases as well as reconciliation of inter-company accounts.
The Account Officer will report directly to the Director of Finance & Account, and would be responsible for managing transactions relating to sales as well as purchases.
Key Responsibilities
Generate sales invoices and prompt follow up for payment and credit notes as at when due
Reconcile accounts receivable subsidiary ledger with general ledger
Accounts receivable management
Generate monthly report of clients activities for management review and decision making.
Maintain aged debtors and follow up customers with outstanding balances.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers.
Generate vendor payments as required.
Support the payroll team when necessary.
Prepare month-end reconciliation, journals, accruals and pre-payments, to trial balance.




Requirements
Bachelor degree, HND in Accounting, Accountancy. Postgraduate qualifications will be an added advantage.
2 – 3 years work experience preferably in a similar position.
Minimum of second class lower division
Not more than 30years of age by the end of 2015
Preferably a male
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – Ms Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
Ability to demonstrate initiative, flexibility and attention to detail in a challenging work environment.
Ability to plan and organize work schedule and work within timelines.
Ability to set business priorities while managing constraints with focus on the big picture.
Commitment to innovation and continuous improvement as well as teamwork and ability to create a positive work environment.
Ability to communicate effectively by confidently presenting messages in a clear and concise manner.

Experience in the use of Accounting Software Packages will be an advantage
