SYNOPSIS ON PIPELINE HYDRAULICS ANALYSIS/SIMULATION USING AN OIL & GAS SIMULATION SOFTWARE
The oil and gas facilities is usually networked with Gathering lines, Trunklines and Transmission pipelines which are basically the arteries for distributing Oil and Gas across facilities. Usually, there exist impedances to this flow; such impedances revolve around: Pressure Drop due to friction; Slug Formation due to two phase flow and Gas Hydrate Formation. To assure flow, these perceived flow assurance obstacles must be accounted for.
Pipeline hydraulics analysis is required to investigate the transportation of fluids from a reference source to a predetermined destination called a ‘sink’ through Flowlines or Pipelines.

During the process of this course, you will be guided through a career path of a Pipeline Hydraulics Expert and a Flow Assurance Expert. The dichotomy of these similar career paths, “Pipeline Hydraulics” and “Flow Assurance”, will be revealed during the training.
This training will use hands-on exercise to acquaint you on how to investigate these pipeline hydraulics challenges (slugging and hydrate formation) and proffer solutions using an oil & gas software.

this is just a tip of the iceberg. Come and learn from one of the most renowned experts of our time …He has seen it all, He has practiced Process Engineering Design Working in America and Europe, and above all, he is willing to share these wealth of experience…we have him on board in AVALONSP, 14th and 15th of April 2012. Can’t wait to see.
MANY CHEERS!
