Job Title: HSE Analyst (Ref:WTSA02527)

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities:


  • The person will be responsible for implementing the Company HSE Management System and assuring compliance with Regulations
  • Liaises closely with the HSE team to define and provide a comprehensive and coherent application of the management system.
  • Complies with company policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
  • Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
  • Participates in the development and maintenance of HSE procedures according to Corporate requirements.
  • Prepares HSE corporate reports, analysis of statistics and trends of HSE indicators
  • Participates in internal audit program and inspections
  • Analyzes, interprets and recommends courses of action for more complex topics
  • Interacts with internal and/or external contacts with a higher level of autonomy.
  • Participates in the development and delivering of HSE training.
  • Ensure proper use of Company IT tools (TSE, IDM, TMC, etc)


Qualification:


  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent Technical Discipline.
  • For this position, preference will be given to Nigerian nationals only.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience with at least 3 years in a similar position.
  • Training and Courses in Health, Safety and Environment are required.
