JOB PURPOSE
The Business Development Manager is responsible for implementing our plan to transform business model ensuring that business development personnel deliver services unmatched for quality, customer service and financial returns. As the Manager, you will monitor and resolves issues regarding the company’s operations mainly sales/ marketing, Responsible for business development and optimal utilization of allocated resources (human and financial) to achieve desirable profitability, goals and targets and to ensure staff development and growth.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
·Prepare the annual Sales and Marketing Plan and lead its implementation
·Ensure prompt preparation of annual training calendar and the successful marketing of same to meet revenue goals
·Deliver on, and desirably, exceed revenue targets and other objectives
·Develop and lead the strategy for sustaining and growing the corporate brand value
·Perform political, economic, social and technological (PEST) analysis to identify emerging opportunities and risks in our areas of play
·Drive opportunities for business growth via market expansion and market deepening strategies
·Lead marketing communications efforts using various media such as website, event marketing, social media, print advertising, etc
·Commit to personal development via formal and informal training, and industry networking
·Provide motivation, coaching, supervision, and general leadership to the sales team to achieve individual revenue targets and sales performance
·Achieve sales profitability goals
ROLE PROFILE
·MINIMUM OF FIRST DEGREE IN ANY DISCIPLINE
·Postgraduate Qualification (such as MBA) is an advantage.
·Membership of relevant Professional Body is a plus.
·Knowledge of the oil industry and experience with training and consulting business environment will be a distinct advantage
