A friend of my mineneeds help.

She received the belowemail based yesterday concerning the above job opening. On calling theBarrister, he requested the sum of N10,000 for the affidavit.

Please i want to know ifanyone else received the same or similar mail from this Unicem Abuja. It seemsthat their email domain is different from Unicem Calabar (unicem.com.ng).

POSITION: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Interview Date: 28^th - Sept - 2013. and Time: 2: 15 pmprompt.(You are to report at the company venue at least one hour early beforethe official interview time in order to attend our orientation before your jobinterview commencement at the company venue)

Salary on Monthly bases: ( will be inform after your interview) for a start asa take-home after tax deduction, besides weekly allowances and otherfinancial benefits attached.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 8am - 4pm Saturday: 10am - 2pm

Insurance: UniCem-Nig Abuja will provide Employee with life insurance coverage,Hospitalization and major medical insurance at no cost to the Employee. SuchEmployee's dependents may be covered under such insurance policy, subject tothe terms of such policy, at the expense of Employer.

Working Terms: Employee shall be employed by Employer for a period of two (2)years from the effective date aforementioned. This letter of agreement shall beautomatically renewed for a successive additional One (1) year term unlessnotice of termination is given in writing by either party to the other party atleast thirty (30) days prior to the expiration of the initial term or any suchrenewal term.

Affidavit of Guarantee Certificate submits Deadline Date : 26^th - Sept - 2013. Should be scanned &sent to us via emailing attachment along with the listed items before 2.30pmour official work closing hour and lateness will not be tolerated.

My brother I received the same email from them as a Laboratory Chemist. But when contacted he said I should bring N15,000 for the paper work. Is a big scam!

Come on guys!! Most of these scammers are not graduates, don't let them out do you with your degree. NO serious company looking to employ you will make you spend for your employment no matter what (shamefully tho this excludes some Nigerian government parastatals). These particular guys are easy to spot cos they tell you the particular barrister you must meet. Why wont they let you go look for a cheaper barrister? If the Barrister is their company barrister then why do you have to pay him?? OLOOOOOOCHI!! people.
