Topic: Graduate Reservoir Services Geophysicist

We are currently recruiting for a Reservoir Services Geophysicist to join our growing Reservoir Services team in Woking, Surrey.


Geotrace is a leading service company within the oil and gas sector. Our Reservoir Services team integrates well and seismic data which in turn helps clients get the most from their asset. We work internationally on a huge range of exploration & production datasets to improve the reservoir image & understanding of its properties using our cutting edge technology.



The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• Degree in Geophysics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Geological Science or other related technical subject
• An interest in progressing a career in the oil industry
• Fluent in the English language (both written and spoken)
• Be computer literate with knowledge of Windows, Unix and scripting in a Unix
• environment highly advantageous
• Self-motivated individual who can demonstrate initiative and be proactive in project delivery.
• Excellent problem solving capabilities
• Excellent team player - the ability to work with all levels within the Company to accomplish goals.
• Open minded to new work practices is essential
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Excellent client interaction skills
• Highly flexible and able to adapt quickly in a growing company
• Able to maintain production and quality control standards
• Willingness to travel
• Self motivated, conscientious and organised
• Eagerness to learn and accept challenging assignments
• High energy level and positive attitude
• Able to work accurately and to tight deadlines with proven time management skills
• Minimum degree level: 2.1
