Steve Jobs was a drop out. Bill gate found the school system too slow and dropped out.
I am sure Mike Adenuga did not make a first class. WE all know the story of Dangote.
My fellow graduates, some job adverts should not discourage us rather they should make us start looking inwards!
These Alaba and Ariaria boys are controlling good millions , some on a monthly basis. Which 'first-class' company will pay you that?
The people that controls the money in the world aren't first class brains but they employ first class brains and get what they want from them.
This kind of adverts always sound so riduiculous 2 me. They shld hv specified d Universities they expect d applicants 2 hv grad from too e.g: Harvard, Yale, MIT, Cambridge etc..*sighs*
Look elsewhere if you do not have a 1st class, do not be angry pls.
My people, it may surprise you to know that there are many graduates with these profiles who are still roaming the streets of Lagos, Abuja, New York and London! I personally know a number of such graduates. In fact, some have first class plus master's. You know, nowadays, companies can decide to set whatever criteria they deem fit. There are too many qualified people out there. This is the truth of the matter.
Think about it, why would I date an okay person when I have the rep and capacity to date a supermodel?
Let's just hope and pray that God will precipitate the occurrence of our own breakthroughs. Someday, someway, somehow, something will work out for us. Let all of us, first class, two one, two two, third class, hnd and all, keep trying. Let's keep praying. It will soon shele.
I remain yours truly,
Ighoeve.
Lol!!9er!wonders shall neva end!
