A fast growing indigenous upstream oil service provider with offices in Lagos and Port- Harcourt requires an experienced and qualified professional to fill the role of Finance officer in its Port-Harcourt office. The individual will be responsible for the following; 1.Timely preparation of invoices following jobs conclusion. 2. To ensure that every invoice prepared are submitted to customers within six hours 3. Collation of bank statements as and when due. 4.Timely reconciliation of bank statements. 5.Submission of weekly financial reports. 6. Timely collection of receivables as and when due. 7. To provide information needed for processing data by customers and other team member on request. 8.To ensure proper safety of all financial resources in his/her custody 9. To ensure receipts are issued immediately money are received 10. To provide a fixed assets review report on a monthly basis 11. To provide inventory report every other month end 12. To initiate a new or improved idea every month The candidate MUST have the following requirements and competencies; • A good University degree in Accounting / Economics • Knowledge of accounting standards • Minimum of 2 years professional experience • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of business and office matters • Must have a good Knowledge of Accounting • Must have a good understanding of Treasury & Funds Management • Must have a good understanding of Assets & Liabilities Management • Good understanding of Taxation • Creativity & Innovation • Team player. • Have good Negotiation skills • Have good Relationship Management skills • Must have Integrity • Must have exceptional PC Skills, and also Oral & Written Communication skills ONLY candidates that meet the requirements for the role should apply.
