please house..i have applied for exxonmobil scholarship but no mail sent to my mail for the reference number...please who is in the same condition with me?..or am i the only one?...please anybody with useful information on how to go abOUt it will be appreciated
Same thing here, I also tried uploading the IDcard and transcript during the application but it was not possible. I thought I could do it at the end to that e-mail address, but am yet to get the confirmation number they said they will send to my e-mail. Anyone with a similar challenge? please share so we know the way forward..thanks
yeah, same here. I believe the site is not fully functional as it's been up and down for a while now. guess they're still working on it.

Pls who knows the email address that they instructed us to send our names and phone numbers to,if there is a delay in sending the REFERENCE NO. to our mails after the elapse of 24 hours from when we apply.

I have beeen asking this question since and i wonder why people are ignoring it. How did people go about the ID card thing. People that have applied did u submit a copy of ur school ID card or what??

My people, just apply and forget about the ID card and transcript issue cos the email they provided has not worked since last year. The most important thing is to pass the test and interview. I got the scholarship (ie 2010/2011). Also had similar challenge. so face the most important challenges first.

Checkout this piece of information: I am currently a benefactor of the NNPC/ESSO national postgraduate scholarship. I had this experience when I applied for the scholarship last year, my reference number was not sent. I waited for like 3 weeks, then re-applied using a different email address and a slight re-arrangement of my names. On submission of this second application, I got the reference number immediately. As at last year, the aptitude test was the usual computer based (numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning and spatial test). They conducted a second test followed by interview (on the same day) their head office in Lagos at a later date. Endeavor to establish a kind of link between you first degree course and your prospective course (this will show continuity in your career plans). Though mine was a miracle cos I got the offer before even getting admission in Uniport, they're keen on having a proof of admission (probably having admission letter). So as you are apply for the scholarship, also apply to a school (don't wait for scholarship offer first...). As for the overseas scholarship, I think it will still have a similar format. MY pple lets wait and see wat happens nw...about the ID card stuff...they expect you to have started or about to start your postgraduate programme....so i think yu are expected to upload ur PG I D CARD and ur undergraduate transcript...but wat i did was that..i upploaded my foreign admission letter in place of ID CARD and my transcript as well..i think this i the best IDEA so far...i stand to be corrected o..but thats how i did my own

This is a very clear language, they'll sort things out themselves if they actually meant something different. Obviously, you're asked to upload Univ schl I.D and transcript.
@ephraimwisdom....?....its obvious u got the the information wrong...ur undergraduate I D Card for what nw!!!...it ur PG ID OR admission letter they need
Please let us not be mistaken. The Application is in three category-local undergraduate, local postgraduate and international postgraduate. I.D card is for undergraduate and post graduate students who have started their programmes already. But for those who are applying for the international postgraduate scholarship, I think you can choose to upload your transcript alone.
It may also be a wise suggestion for those without I.D cards to upload their Admission letter instead.
for the reference number issue, it may be a wise decision to keep applying until you get the reference number.

i have gotten. wrote last year without an admission at hand and just applied now. checked my mail and saw the reference i.d.
thank God ...i just Got my Reference number too...i uploaded my overseas masters admission letter in place of ID and my transcript too..but a different email address dis time around....my pple kep tryn..it is well IJN

Thank God .. I successfully received mine about 30 mins ago after learning that uscofield had been successful. I had applied 14 different times since June 2. You should see a message like "Data successfully entered (into database)" or so, followed by an error message, before the usual congratulatory message. Then the confirmation ID is sent instantly (as any usual online registration should be)
not skilled test. Just numerical and verbal reasoning, including abstract comprehension questns of which u must choose 2correct answers out of 4given options. Get invited 1st, then we can chat.
After applying a second time with a different e-mail address, i got my confirmation mail containg my ref number..found it in spam folder.
those of you who have received the confirmation mail, were you able to attach ur ID n Transcript to the application form? or u just applied without them?
