Job Description


Main Responsibilities




•To follow the contract awarding processes, by receiving from the User Department the Request of Services (RDA) and all the relevant documentation (technical and HSE specifications), arranging the invitation to tender, receiving technical evaluation, making the contractual and economical evaluation.
•Elaborating and proposing contracting solutions and pursuing alternative methods of improving contracting practices i.e. risk/reward, incentives, alliances etc.
•Preparing un-priced and priced evaluation models of high complexity and major contracts.
•Writing contracts requirements in conformance with all applicable laws and in compliance with eni’s procurement policies & procedures.
•Finalize all contractual terms and conditions to award Contracts for Goods and services of high value and complexity.
•Ensuring that confidentiality is maintained during the procurement process.
•Demonstrating continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work co-operatively and jointly with other departments and with other Contracts & Procurement staff to provide high quality, seamless customer service.

•Training on the job of National personnel in all aspects of the contracting process.
•To process requisitions for materials and services to meet cost, quantity and quality requirements all in accordance with eni’s Procurement Policies & Procedures.
•To ensure that the contracts activities are performed in accordance with the procedures, local content requirements and coordinate with Legal Advisors contractual legal aspects.
•If requested by the contingent workload, manage the contracts and procurement necessary to award Contracts for Goods and services of low value and low complexity.
•To prepare the Contract Amendments and Change Orders.
•To arrange the corresponding contract information for audits.
•Contributing to the vendor qualification system through research and evaluation of commodity areas and making recommendations for additions to Qualified Vendors List, based on sound commercial, financial, technical and quality-assurance principles as well as providing a necessary feed-back on responsiveness and performance of the tenderers/contractors.
•Developing, compiling, conducting pre-enquiries and market surveys.
•Contributing to Contract award recommendation drafting and developing commercial evaluation reports.
•Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment, by:•abiding by Corporate Health, Safety & Environment Policy
•including eni Corporate Health, Safety and Environment Policy in all Contracts, as applicable.
