Our client, a world class oil and gas company is seeking to engage the following;

1. CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER

Education
Bsc in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline.

Experience
5-7 years post graduation working experience out of which at least 3 years should have been
spent in project engineering or construction management in the Oil and Gas industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Coordinate the supervision of a multidiscipline construction group for all assigned Construction activities ensuring HSE compliance while liasing with the project engineer and Business Owner during the course of construction activities to ensure minimum disruption to normal operation

• Provide technical support to Project Engineers for all civil, structural and building services with particular reference for HSE, Constructability, Operability, Maintainability, construction schedule and commercial impact during all phases of the Project

• Develop the Construction Management processes of the Strategic Value Identification (Pre-FID) and Value Realization (post-FID) processes of allocated Civil and Mechanical Engineering Plant projects, in accordance with the client’s approved Project Management Procedures, while ensuring proper authorizations to achieve project delivery within approved project scope, HSE, quality, schedule and construction budget.


• Develop Civil and Mechanical Construction Risk Assessment aligned with the Project Risk Assessment to identify and assess risks and uncertainties associated with implementing the specific project and develop Civil and Mechanical Construction Risk Management Plan and mitigation strategies for projects under consideration to support company’s effective Risk Management Plans.

• Develop and implement Civil and Mechanical Engineering Construction Management Plans or Infrastructure projects, including commissioning and start up plans, spare part recommendations, training requirements, start up assistance for specialized equipment, etc, in order to ensure appropriate construction delivery, flawless start up and handover to the Business Owner or Asset Holder


• Implement HSE and Quality Management Processes for Civil and Mechanical Engineering construction activities and ensure adherence to the Project Quality Management System, and administer construction changes, deviations and queries in accordance with the Change Management Processes, in order to achieve best practices in HSE and quality delivery of projects.
• Administer effective Construction Stakeholder Management Plans for all Civil and Mechanical project and generate timely construction progress reports for all ongoing Mechanical and Civil projects for effective communication and seamless construction delivery.

• Adhere to the Contracting and Procurement strategies, implement Materials Management Processes and ensure that all materials used for civil and mechanical engineering construction activities are of adequate standard according to specifications to prevent construction rework.


• Carry out complete closure of Punch List items, timely handover of documentation of completed Civil and Mechanical projects, including Marked Up As Built Drawings / Documentation and Construction Performance Post Implementation reviews and generate Lessons Learned and Close Out Reports for improved construction delivery.

• Participate in estimating resource requirements for Civil and Mechanical Infrastructure Construction Team for effective workload management and achieve Plant projects delivery targets.


• Liaise with Contractors in assessing risks and to resolve such issues that may prevent timely completion of work in order to meet project schedule.

2. HSE ENGINEER

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical Engineering or relevant engineering
discipline.

Experience
5-8 years post graduation experience, out of which minimum of 3 years should be in
Environmental Management on construction projects. Plus EMS auditing.

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Monitor and guide the operational activities of PP contractors with regard to HSE and compliance with ESMP, ESHA & ISO14001

• Participate in Audits/Walkabout in Projects and Company wide and ensure timely close out of non conformances.

• Provide technical advice to ensure that all Project related waste is managed professionally, cost effective and inline with Company waste management philosophy.

• Liaise with HSEQ to ensure that Company is indemnified in all project waste items donated to communities.

• Arrange visits by Environmental regulatory agencies for purpose of mitigation monitoring and ensure compliance in close-out of all observations & EIA requirements.

• Conducts regular inspections of all the HSE aspects of the various contractors to monitor their HSE activities

• Collate, Analyse, Report & Maintain monthly records of Environmental activities on Project.

• Promote activities in the prevention of accidents, injuries and damage to environment through structured HSE programme to improve or enhance the Project HSE performance.

3. DOCUMENT CONTROLLER

Education
B.Sc. degree in relevant discipline is required for the job

Experience
3 -5 years post graduate experience, out of which 2 years should have been spent in a Document
Control in an Oil & Gas company.

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Recommend proposals for creation, review and update of procedures for registration and
control of documents in line with client's requirements of document control procedures -
assure consistency in compliance with company asset and information management (AIMS)objectives.

• Carry out, receipt, distribution and dispatch of all documents required for the effective and timely implementation and close out of Project Development Requests to realize company objective of effective project delivery.

• Maintain and update Correspondence data information logs for Records and archiving and maintain custody of Project Specifications, Manuals etc to ensure immediate availability and retrieval of information to support company information management system.

• Assist to develop Project Document Control Procedures in line with the requirement of PD Quality Management System and ensure that all relevant quality assurance and control processes in document control are adhered to in projects in order to achieve seamless handover of project documents in line with company’s project close out objective.

• Produce and distribute hard copies of documents as and when required by third parties in
accordance with the project contractual expectation to achieve effective control of project
documents.

• Provide support on AIMS to project teams, including validation of as-built documents
prior retention and handover on the overall company’s information management system
