CHALLENGING EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN AN ENGINEERING CONSULTING PRACTICE
Our client, a leading integrated engineering projects consulting, training, recruitment and outsourcing company is in the process of strategic diversification into Power, and Oil/Gas training, as well as water automation consulting, projects and services. In furtherance of the foregoing, it is desirous of identifying self managed and thoroughly competent professionals, who are business oriented and are comfortable working in a fast paced, performance driven environment to assume the responsibilities of the following positions:

A1. Head, Power Training Institute
• The appointee will be an electrical, electronic or mechanical engineer, preferably with a Masters Degree, with extensive operational experience in the Power Industry.

• The appointee will have some curriculum development and teaching experience that would facilitate the effective establishment, operation and profitable management of the Power Training Institute.

• The ideal candidate will have senior level contacts in the Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution Industry, and will have a flair for teaching and research.

• The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the institute’s budget, and for motivating operational staff for efficiency and profit.

A2. Head, Oil/Gas Academy
• Suitable candidates for this position will have extensive working experience in the oil and gas industry, and will be capable of developing the academy’s curriculum for effective programmes delivery in all aspects of the industry.
• He/She would be a graduate of Geology, Petroleum Engineering or related disciplines, preferably at post-graduate level, and will be capable of establishing, coordinating and managing the firm’s oil/gas learning and skill development division.
• Ideal candidates will have strong business development skills facilitated by senior level contacts at Heads of learning level in the industry.

A4. Head, Automation/Instrumentation Projects
• The appointee for this position will be an automation/instrumentation engineer, preferably at post-graduate level, who has had appreciable experience in managing automation projects for various sectors of the economy in a well structured instrumentation/automation company.
• The selected candidate for this very important role will have responsibilities for coordinating relationships with our technical partners, and for establishing the operational framework that will ensure the profitable management of the division.
• The ideal candidate will have not less than ten years business development and/or automation/instrumentation project management experience, and should be comfortable working in a fast paced, performance driven environment.

A6. FULL AND PART TIME INSTRUCTORS
• These would individuals with appreciable experience in curriculum development, programme design, and facilitation in the following areas; • Automation/Instrumentation Electrical/Electronic Engineering Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics Oil/Gas Power (Generation/Transmission and Distribution) Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Plumbing and Pipe fitting
• The appointees will have university degrees in the appropriate disciplines, preferably at post-graduate level, with appreciable related work experience and not less than three years curriculum development and facilitation experience in technical training institutions. Candidates with a flair for teaching will also be considered for these positions.
